2nd time here for an Express Pedicure $17. First time was fine. Quick, painless, lasted approximately 3 weeks. Polish was OPI,which was my own, although there are some OPI polishes to choose from along with China Glaze and generics. This time was the same service (Express Pedicure $17) with my own OPI polish. The entire service lasted 11 minutes from the time I sat down in the pedi chair until the tech said "ok, done. You can come over to let nails dry. " That's super express, but not in a good way. Polish job is messy unfortunately and the nails are crooked. All that was done was clipping, no filing was done. The cuticles were clipped but left jagged (again 11 minutes total-way too fast). Pretty color but it looks uneven and streaky due to poor application. My last time here.
The side of my nails did not get gel color. This happened "ALL OF MY FINGERS" i'm not happy with this at all! She wasn't in a rush because no one there. The shop was empty but why this happened to me ? Please go somewhere else do not try to come in this place.
This place is awful. The nail tech was being really careless. She was cutting my nails so fast that she cut my finger. Then, she didn't even use water on my dried out, sandy fingers and fingernails. Thirdly, she didn't even use a base coat. The polish was applied, and was sloppy, leaving visible strokes on my nails. It's only been about seven hours since I've gotten my nails done, and my polish already chipped due to the messy application. The nail tech even put TOP COAT inside the cut on the tip of my finger to supposedly "shield it", but all it did was make my finger stiff and the cut stung. She didn't even clean it or anything. The nail polish that my nails had grown out already looked better than this butcher, unprofessional mani. Even though I'm only in Temecula until tomorrow, I still will never come back to Regal Nails upon my next Temecula visit.
I decided to give this place another chance. Last time I was here, my acrylic nails turned out so badly, I had to go elsewhere to get them fixed. Today I thought I might get a pedi before I did my shopping, but when I looked into the place I quickly changed my mind. There was trash and debris strewn all over the floor. Experience tells me that if the shop is filthy, then the tools are too. I won't take a chance with a skin infection. Never again...
They were very nice, but I have to let you know that it was the dirtiest nail salon I've ever been to. There were cuttings all over the floor. The floor was filthy. The utensils weren't cleaned before or after they were used on me. The foot bowl wasn't cleaned after me. Even the woman's apron was filthy. My pedi is very sloppy. Why I didn't run out, I don't know.
