Regal Nails, Salon & Spa in Albany, GA

I use to love this nail shop, but the other day I went in, i was told to be seated til my turn.. which was after one lady, I didn't mind waiting because both were finishing up with gel nails.. so one lady got done and started on the lady before me, then a man walked in and ask for a manicure, she told him to sit in a chair at the desk... remind you I've been patiently waiting in the waiting area. She went to prep the man for his manicure so I said I was next so how does he come and skip me. It'll be only be 10 mins , have a seat... so I'm still standing there cuz how can u just skip me without asking.. she begin to yell at me and say "10 mins have a seat while throwing her hand up at me , telling me to go away" JUST SAY ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE after that! KATHY IS HER NAME AND I THINK SHE IS THE MANAGER !

I literally would give zero stars if it was an option. I'm new to the area and went there upon recommendation of a friend. Her nails looked nice so I decided to give it a shot. There were no covid precautions that I saw being taken which should have been my first sign to leave but I stayed. I wear my natural nails short but I like sns because it protects them, lasts a long time and usually gives the illusion that my nails are a tiny bit longer. The tech never introduced herself. She never spoke to me the entire visit. At all. She cut 3 of my fingers. When she was done I had different thicknesses on my nails, uneven tips and bleeding cuticles. I'm not a confrontational person and also wasn't comfortable complaining so I paid the $46 they charged for sns on natural nails (which is ridiculous) and left. The next day my friend who recommended me called her nail tech and told her what happened. She said she was going to speak to the tech and call her back with a resolution. 2 days later we hadn't heard anything so I made the decision to call Regals corporate office. They were super nice and called the salon and called me back. She told me to go back when I had time and asked for a man named Jackie and he would get me taken care of. So on Friday I left work early and went there as I was leaving town to celebrate my birthday. When I asked for Jackie and started to say who I was he interrupted me raised his voice so loud that the entire salon turned and looked at me and said "oh so YOURE the one who called corporate on us and complained" I did tell him that we had called the salon and tried to take care of it that way but we were not successful and it wasn't my fault they did a horrible job on my nails. And then I left. I called corporate and let them know what happened and they apologized and said they would call the franchise owner and make sure he was reprimanded but now I'm out $46 and had to pay $30 to another salon to fix what they did. Also, did i mention they were doing pedicures with no liners?

First time trying a nail salon in Walmart but it was a great experience. My Technician was Mary and she was so sweet and passionate about her customers nails. She explained a healthy nail bed and an unhealthy one. She took her time but still finished in a good time. She listened to me when I explained what I liked and didn't like. She examined my nails and suggested I not get a full set because I have healthy nails so she just cut and shaped them down to the same size and put acrylic on top. My nails grow pretty fast so I don't mind. She created a natural look for my nails which I like. I'll be back again for sure.

I've been coming here for years, Mimi always dose my pedicures and manicures! My go to place, their always pretty busy, but the wait is wroth it!!!!

First I'm shocked no one has ever reviewed this lovely business. A veey small location but the customers don't care that its small. Whenever I come to Albany and need my nails done I head over to Walmart and visit Regal Nails. My feet were done by Cindy. She is very thorough and has great hands massaging your feet and legs. My feet feel like butter. My nails were done by Jackie. He is the very best. He got rid of a lot of old acrylic that wasn't cute. He knew just what I meant when I said I don't like the shape of the fill at the cuticle line. Absolutely perfect. Go see this crew. They know their customers well and are super friendly.
