All I can say is that I am very disappointed and sad. I have cried about my hair since I got it done. Ashley asked me in the beginning of the appointment how attached I am to my hair. I told her I am very attracted. She chopped off about 12 inches without discussing it with me and also thinned my hair terribly. She had me turned to where I could not see what she was doing to my hair. After I saw my hair I was in shock and she knew I did not like it. And told me " it will take a couple days till you start liking it." No, it's been a few days and I still haven't because I loved my long hair. On top of it I did not get the highlights we discussed. I tried contacting her about it and she has not got back to me. I would not recommend this place at all. Unless you want something you do not want. She charged me an ungodly amount of money to butcher my hair.
Oh my gosh, you guys ... ASHLEY is the best and I've never even seen her!!! Here's the deal: I'm new to the area and currently searching for a new stylist "Somewhere in western MT". A few weeks ago I reached out to several stylists who had great reviews via my google search and ... long story short accidentally thought I made an appointment with a different stylist (similar name) at a different salon like 2.5 hours away. When ASHLEY and I finally solved the mystery, there was no way I could get to her in time and she was 100% UNDERSTANDING and PROFESSIONAL and KIND. Totally top notch customer service. I'm so embarrassed and she was TOTALLY GRACIOUS. I wish I lived closer to Whitefish. This salon clearly rocks and I look forward to driving up there for my spring root job ; ).
The overall experience was just weird. It took way too long and I ended up with a bad cut. Didn't know how to work with curly hair and just wanted to chop it. Then wanted to style it how she wanted rather than what I wanted. Overall, not good and very weird.
Ashley's salon is representative of her: fun, artistic, unique. She goes the extra mile to make the experience pleasant, I felt pampered and cared for. She took extra time with me to make my haircut "perfect" (even after I thought it looked great) showing her commitment to excellence. I walked into her salon with sloppy, messy, long-ish hair, wanting a great cut, something cool and different. She listened carefully to my ideas and I left with a gorgeous haircut! Thanks, Ashley! I'll be back!
Guys haircut and beard trim; First visit; Ashley is easygoing and listened to what I wanted. She's a perfectionist for sure and it was a relaxing experience with lots of great touches (scalp massage, scented wraps...) and I left relaxed, impressEd and with a great cut. Going back for sure!
