Razor's Edge Salon in Merrillville, IN

Worse color job I have ever gotten. First time I went, had to go back and have her fix it.  Decided to give the stylist a second chance and not only did she not do what I asked, the color is horrendous.  Not to mention you will sit in a chair for hours upon hours. When I told stylist I wasn't happy all I got was an I'm sorry.  No offer to retouch it or refund.  I would not recommend  this place.  If I could give it zero stars I would.

Visiting this salon is a treat! Razor's Edge is a great salon with a very comfortable atmosphere and great products. Kara takes her time cutting every hair to ensure it is up to her high standards as well as ensuring you are totally satisfied with your hair. I have honestly never met someone who cares more about the health and style of my hair than I do. I feel extremely confident coming into this salon knowing my cut and color will be perfect (and look great with my face!).

I highly recommend this Hair Salon for several reasons. the Hair Stylists are very friendly, knowledgeable , and care about making you look your best. The atmosphere is very customer friendly with complimentary beverages,and we were offered baked goods on our Saturday morning visit. Our stylist was Kassie Henrikson who absolutely went above and beyond to help us with our new hair styles and color.Do not hesitate to ask for Kassie or anyone else at Razors Edge!!!!

I had the honor of getting my hair done by Paige. The event was for a wedding, and as maid of honor, getting my hair done professionally was of utmost importance. From the minute I stepped into the shop, Paige made me feel comfortable. With the picture I sent her of the look I was going for, she knew how to achieve it and was enthusiastic about creating the deconstructed look of a chignon. Throughout my 2-hour appointment, she made sure I was comfortable and explained each step. Every now and then, she would ask how I was liking the look and was open to suggestions and tweaking. She also made sure my hair wouldn't go anywhere for the duration of the day by spraying a ton of hairspray, and I ended up pulling out a total of 78 bobby pins at the end of the night. It was all worth it! I highly recommend Paige for a great updo. This girl has talent! Oh, and she does makeup too. Thanks so much, Paige! If only you were closer to me in Los Angeles, I'd have you as my forever hair stylist. I still reminisce about the deconstructed chignon you did until this day. =)

I walked in to this salon after a different one I stopped at was closed. They told me it would be a 30 minute wait but they could get me in that day. I ended up waiting maybe ten minutes because they called another stylist in. Ghada cut my hair and she was really great. I will definitely be back to the salon! Had nice decor and a trendy vibe. Everyone was super nice there too, and Ghada managed to not only cut my hair but show me how to duplicate results at home without making me feel like an idiot.
