Raphaël Hair at Grosvenor's most important asset is Raphael himself. He runs his establishment with outmost care and with a focus on customer service. I have waited a whole year to cut my hair until I was properly vaccinated, and 8 finally took the step today, and cannot be happier with the results. I made my first appointment today with Raphael, and I'm super impressed with his hair cutting and styling skills! He is definitely "old school" and he takes time to detail your haircut. Raphael is a unisex salon. He also has nail services that he contracts as needed, and even a small massage room. Parking is free at the Grosvenor Place IIII building and he takes both cash and credit cards.

Raphael does a good basic haircut at a very reasonable price, and he is wonderfully pleasant to talk with while he's working. The first time I went there I went to the main entrance of the building, then down to the basement, and the long walk to the salon. It's a lot easier to park near the Grosvenor Market (which I also recommend--although the prices are higher than at Giant, the produce etc. is fresher, the prepared foods at the back are excellent, and it's convenient). Then you walk down to the alley alongside the building, into the building, and the salon is the first business on the left after the cleaners. Get your haircut, pick up a meal, and go!

I have been going here for haircuts from Raphael, the owner, for four years. It's a family-run business and the men's haircut at $20 is an excellent value (you are not paying for the décor). He does a good classic haircut - not just an electric shaver, but a good cut by hand and a clean shave on the neck that leaves a great texture in the hair. He knows your name when you walk in, is passionate about tennis, and does a consistently good job. I rarely have to wait when I go down to the shop on the weekend and they always have coffee and cookies on offer! The salon is located at the south end of the building down a separate drive - there are signs to the hair salon posted off of Grosvenor Pl. Pair this visit with a trip to Grosvenor Market too - it's what makes Grosvenor a special place to live!
