Ralph's Hair Salon in Tucson, AZ

I don't buy into Ralphs booking clients, weekly and if you don't book regularly he has a tendency to make you wait with other ladies that have the same appointment time. Ralph caterers to his "inner circle of friends" that can walk-in for a quick hair fix, while I wait and wait. I made an appointment and had to cancel due to being exposed to Covid, in Saddlebrooke. After the waiting period I called back and a nice young man made the reservations" today. Ralph, called back to cancel telling me I never give cancelation notice and he said he will refuse service to me" today and in the future! Ralph caters to folks that have $$$ their hair done weekly or 2-3 times a month, brags about being invited to clients social events and discriminates against folks like me that travel, get cuts from other great stylist and tip according to the service. He's not the best and not the only barber in town!

YES!!!............I was so very happy with Ralph's work on my hair. He is a true stylist. I love his no-nonsense approach. Do not be put off by his "plain" shop. I was not looking for a glass of wine or an impeccably designed shop............just a great cut and that is what I recieved....

I love Ralph! He knows hair color and cuts! I'm so happy to have found such a talented designer after just moving to this area of the country! He's made my cut so easy to maintain and style! I get lots of compliments. I've never had to wait for him or have been disappointed with my cut and color. I just let him make the suggestion and do want he wants and it always turns out great!

I went to Ralph's today, and gosh darn it, that cowboy knows how to cut hair. I brought in some photos of what I wanted and he totally got it and delivered. My hair hasn't looked this good in a long time--since I lived in a major west coast city and paid major west coast prices. That said, Ralph is a character. He might not be for everyone, but I appreciate a good looking cut. He knew that the last person who cut my hair used my part to decide how to cut my hair. Ralph said he was going to cut my hair not according to the part (which I usually style over) but rather according to how my hair behaves. If you can put up with a sort of gruff cowboy type who takes hair cutting seriously, consider trying Ralph.

I have been going to Ralph for many years. He is a great guy and a great stylist. There has been only one time in 10 years when he did not show up and it was a mix up. He is very nice and flexible when I need to make changes. I get many, many compliments on my hair because of his talent! Pat B
