Queen Nail Salon & Spa in Westville, NJ

I have been searching for a new pedicure place since moving away from my beloved salon, Coco Nails, in Haddonfield. This is tough task for me because new places stress me out. So I took a risk. First impression: clean and fresh. The music was a turn off (80s romantic songs) but that's only a minor thing. I sat in the chair and I was asked to "pick my jelly", which confused me til I realized it's the stuff they put in the water. It did feel nice, so points for that. The chair massager was really good. I got the basic pedicure, which was fine. I will go back next time during the week and get the mani-pedi, maybe a brow wax.

I received a pedicure and gel manicure here. I absolutely loved my pedicure!! The massage chairs here are the best I have ever experienced and the jelly used to soak my feet in was a unique treat. I would was a little put off at first because it basically looks like a hole in the wall nail salon that you would expect subpar service at but I really like my nail technician and look forward to going back for my next pedicure. As a warning, they don't have a lot of colors to choose from, or at least they aren't provided/displayed in the best way to give you all your options so I suggest going in with a picture of the color you want and just having them match as best as possible with what they have. It isn't ideal but I'm not overly picky with it comes to nail colors.

I'm very hesitant about trying new places, especially when you have a place you know and trust. My husband got me a gift certificate for my birthday and after giving them a chance I'm glad he did. Clean, friendly, professional. COVID procedures in place, Masks worn (and worn properly) by staff and required of guests. Everything wiped down between guests. The only downside is there are more appointments now and less staff to accommodate walk-ins, but if you make an appointment, it's worth it. Making my next appointment as we speak.

Not impressed, minimal color choices for regular colors. Waited at least 20 minutes in chairs for a pedicure. Most salons usually let you sit in the pedicure chair and start to soak.

I switched to this nail salon from another nail salon in the area. When I first came here, I was very happy with my experience. The two women who work in the nail salon are very kind, sweet, caring, and compassionate. They truly treat you as if you are a friend and that is something that stands out to me coming from a business. The reason why I am giving 3 stars is because as of the last 2-3 months, I have waited forever to get into the chair just to get my nails done. Also, they have taken forever just to do my nails. A refill the last few times has taken an hour and a half. I have waited an hour just to get into the chair when there was only one person already in the chair ahead of me and they were almost done their refill. The person in the chair looked extremely pissed off, and I saw that she barely tipped. I understand the concept of making an appointment, but I have seen people who have come in before me who were misquoted on times that were sitting there waiting for over an hour. They quoted someone on a 15 minute wait and they were waiting for 45 mins. My nails have also been chipping the first week when they used to last 3 weeks. If it takes an hour and a half to do my nails, I think reasonably I should be able to get two weeks out of a refilled polish. If it was not for the wait times and the time sitting in the chair, they would easily get 5 stars. But the wait really has me thinking about coming back when I loved coming here!
