Q Nails in Hannibal, MO

We had the best service.  It's the cleanest nail salon I've seen and super friendly.   We were passing through Hannibal but if we lived closer we'd be a regular.

The owners are great, very involved in the community. I don't do fake nails, but the pedicure and gel polish I've gotten there has been great. I like supporting locally owned businesses and would definitely recommend.

If I could give a 0 star I would. The only reason I even went to this place was because Lovely Nails was pretty full and me being impatient had to go somewhere IMMEDIATELY because I don't like going very long without a full set of nails on. First off I'm from St. Louis and I get my nails done at a very high end nail salon and was expecting a lot considering they told me my nails would cost me $75 when all I wanted them one solid color and Longer. I couldn't decide on a color right away but knew I didn't want anything too fancy just some shade of pink. He rushed me into picking a color I didn't really like when I had probably 30 minutes to choose. Well as he was buffing and filing my nails he LITERALLY smacked my hand down multiple times telling me to relax when I physically could not relax my hand anymore. Fast forward to him shaping my tips. I asked for coffin he continued to file until the ends of my nails legitimately looked like they were meant to be stiletto nails. I explained to him they were too thin at the end. He proceeded to tell me I was "too picky" like what?! I'm paying you $75 to do something Lovely Nails could do just as good for $40. I was so shocked. I said "you can just take the tips off and I can go somewhere else that's fine" he said "yeah because you're just too picky we can't help you. Don't come back" then he took a pair of nail clippers and ripped the tips off he didn't even try and soak them off first and he ended up damaging my real nail in the process. It burned so bad I had to wait 2 weeks for it to grow back before I could go get my nails done again. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

Good price for gel nails. They look good and I love the color. Although the woman did make my finger bleed while scraping my cuticles. Other than that it's clean and was reasonably priced.

I went here once and was treated poorly and misinformed.  When I walked in, I specifically asked if they had liquid gel builder instead of acrylic and was told they did.  However, when I sat down for my fill, they put powder acrylic on my nails.  The nail artist refused to accept that two fingers on one of my hands physically cannot "relax," got angry at me, smacked my hand a couple of times, and then proceeded to be less than friendly the rest of my time there.  Unfortunately, she was incredibly talented and I was VERY pleased with the quality of her work. Between the treatment and misinformation (along with paying more than someone else who also got a fill there), I refuse to go back.
