Worst haircut ever,so bad had to come back to town next day and just get a buzz cut ,no fixing the mess made
I came here to get my hair lightened and was immediately turned away. The lady was older and Asian, she took one look at my hair, basically ripped out my earring, and denied me saying my hair is too damaged. It is not too damaged as i've only bleached it a few times in my life. She told me to find a different salon because she refused so i did and they immediately helped me. Rude and not helpful.
The hairdresser nearly choked me when draping me. It was very uncomfortable. She was rushing, didn't part my hair in the middle, and gave me a horribly uneven haircut. It's about an inch longer on the left side, and another inch shorter in the front than the back. I don't understand how someone like this is licensed. Every time she combed through my hair, she did it so hard. She also did not completely wet my hair when giving the haircut. I am a licensed hairdresser myself and this honestly just made me want to cry. My hair is so much shorter and totally uneven. Completely dissatisfied. It is nearly impossible to find a decent place here on Kauai. Haircut alone was $25. I definitely do not recommend this place.
My mom and I wanted to get a layered hair cut. Weve been to mastercuts and regis before and we werent happy with the results, so we decided to give macys salon a try.

LISA who is also the manager has over 40 years experience cutting hair. She was so friendly and one thing i really liked is that when she talked to us she stopped cutting my hair she wasnt snipping away and talking at the same time. I know people can multi task, but i liked that when she was cutting my hair she was very focused. I cut my hair over a week ago and i still look in the mirror and say "i love my hair cut!!!"
