Precision Nails in Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA

I was not blown away by my Precision Nails experience. Precision Nails does not believe in using soaking tubs for their pedicures. I understand that foot soaking in pedicures can be considered to be unhygienic, but I just feel that proper measures can be taken to ensure that soaking equipment is kept clean and sanitized. I also feel that the argument that the use of soaking tubs is a waste of water - shouldn't be too much of a problem with just two chairs. Despite the no water policy I was still impressed that Precision Nails seeks to put the customer's health first. What I have trouble rationalizing - is their price - $65 dollars for a pedicure (their express pedicures are $35). Also since there was only one technician on hand the day that my friend and I stopped in - we had to wait an hour in between pedicures. The kind woman who performed the pedicures did alert us to this - before we arrived - but it still felt a little stiff - especially since there was a dividing wall between us. The pedicure was nice enough - but it felt so basic and the massage felt very light and short. Being in the far room - I also didn't get any sunlight - which seemed counter-intuitive being that we were in sunny Carmel. The nail technician was kind and did a good job - but I feel like you can get a more thorough and relaxing experience elsewhere. Also if you're looking for a social experience with some friends - this is not the place. Trust.

Not your typical nail salon with the individual sections and cushy chairs. Nice, quiet, super clean and private. No foot soak but my cuticles were squeaky trimmed and clean. Fantastic polish job. Thanks, Sherrie!

I love this place! I went to Precision Nails while I lived in Monterey. They are the best. Now that I'm in Southern California, I have looked in vain for a salon that delivers the quality product and great service of Precision Nails. Go here, you will not be sorry.

I looked at all the reviews on Yelp for an excellent Nail/Pedicure Salon in Carmel. Since I wasn't satisfied with any reviews I decided to look at the places that didn't have any reviews. I googled Precision Nails and Carmel, Ca and came upon there website. Wow...you can make your appointment online. But, I called the next day instead and got an appointment for a pedicure. I had to give my credit card to hold my appointment and if I didn't show up then my card would be charged. Seems fair..I guess. Now for the review: My pedicure was THE BEST! The person who did my feet spent an hour and was very very through.From the salt scrub and paraffin to the massage and polish.... She didn't rush at all. My pedicure felt great, turned out perfectly and I will certainly be coming back. The only negative is that it cost $65-pretty steep for a pedicure...but they also have express pedicures too.

Absolutely the best nail salon I've ever been to. My nails look natural and beautiful. The salon is relaxing and beautiful. The technicians are charming and know their stuff. It just doesn't get better than this.
