Polish Me Pretty in Middletown, NY

Well...On 6/8/23 I entered this business to get my eyebrows done. I stated the service that I needed,an older lady got up, took me to a room told me to sit in the chair. She then opened a container grab cotton balls and stick for the wax which she placed in her mouth. She try touching my face but I stopped from doing so. I ask her to sanitize her hands but instead threw everything down and told me to leave I'm not doing it. I would never ever recommend this place. Staff is rude and nasty . I rate this place a zero.

Horrible experience.....The manicurist who did my nails was extremely rude. I asked him multiple times not to cut my nails too short, but he didn't acknowledge me. He also seemed to be in a rush to get me from under the fan whilst my toes were drying. I've never had someone take my slippers off and usher me to get up from my seat. I won't be back.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!!!! I asked for a star design which I truly don't believe is very difficult!!! She rushed through out the whole process of doing my design!!!! I was annoyed by how she brushed me off when I explained to her that I did not like the design she stated she did nothing wrong!IF I AM PAYING 73 dollars for my nails (which I don't mind! I respect a good nail techs artistry) then you need to fix it what I dislike and to top it all off she refused to remove the design so I can have plain polish! I was extremely aggravated! She clearly expected a tip because she didn't want to give me my change back! Never ever will I go back here so disappointed!

Called to come in for a regular manicure. The girl said to come now which was awesome, no appointment necessary. For parking they have a lot. You can park in the front, or on the left side of the building. They share the building with a liquor store so plenty of parking. When you walk in, your in a vestibule. It has a shovel and salt, so you know they are ready to shovel so their customers don't slip and fall. Glad they think of their customers :) There are also two nice white leather chairs in the vestibule. Then you go into the second door and you are in the salon. It's small, but cozy. Not cramped. The salon is painted white, with nice gray wood floors. They have beautiful dark wood nail stations with white marble tops. The chairs are new and all matching brown. They prefer tip in cash. They also have free WThere are 6 nail stations and 3-4 pedicure chairs in the back. They were staffed with 3 employees when I went. 2 females and a male. All were polite. Went to choose a color and they actually had a wide selection because a lot of places around here don't believe in regular polish anymore which is sad because not everyone likes gel. After I chose, one of the females, didn't get her name, but she doesn't speak very well English. That's ok because she took her time, and really paid attention to what she was doing, especially my cuticles which are horrible. Needless to say, I loved how my nails came out. Dried at the machine for 15 minutes and left. I definitely will be returning. UPDATE: 1 star Returned one day to get dip polish done. Got it done with the guy. I asked for round. Meanwhile I barely have nails cause I'm a nail biter and he didn't ask any questions, barely could he speak English. Me not knowing nail terms meant that I wanted it square with a round tip. I learned the hard way.. anyways, they looked like toes on my hands. Horrible job. LAST UPDATE: 0 stars Went the week before my wedding and I had gel polish on but I washed dishes so much that the polish was basically off and my nails were breaking. The female who speaks English did my nails this time. The only thing she could do to make it look good for pictures was give me acrylics with gel on top. Let me tell me, that the day after the wedding we went on our honeymoon for 9 days. I was in water at the beach for 2 out of the 9 days. My thumb was literally throbbing. I ended up cutting off the acrylics and peeling off the nail polish. When I saw, my thumb was green from an infection! I went right back to her and said look what happened! The acrylic wasn't glued on to my nail good enough and it lifted and water got in and gave me an infection. She said that was her first time that that happened. LIE! The review below me shows she got an infection too. I told her to take off the remaining gel and acrylics and she pulled them off so hard it hurt. I told her she shouldn't charge me cause she caused an infection but she took such an offense to it saying that it didn't happen there and all this stuff. I said forget it. The review says it all. NEVER going back again. I STRONGLY advise you don't get your nails done here unless you want an infection.
