Planet Beach in Granbury, TX

I had a membership here for quite a while and there were at least three (possibly four) times that they were not open at their opening time of 8:00 am. The final time was my last straw. It was after 8:30 when I called and the person said "well, we are here now." I then asked what steps I needed to take to cancel my membership. Another employee did call to apologize but this was not the first time this had happened and it's aggravating. I was charged the $99 to cancel on the spot since I opted to not drag it out for 2 months.

Manager is absolutely unprofessional and "catty." She trained a new employee of hers for only 30 minutes and then proceeded to fire that employee for "not knowing how to clean the way she wanted things precisely to be clean." When the employee stated to her manager that she didn't know she wanted certain things of her salon cleaned a certain way, the manager responded by telling her she should've asked more questions. Maybe you should have trained her for more than 30 minutes so she wouldn't have to ask questions? How does she expect people to not know how to clean things the way she wants when she does not teach them how to? Not only did she fire this employee for doing her job exactly the way she learned, she fired her over text in a very catty manor while this employee was at work. To add on to the cattiness of her behavior, she would talk negatively about the members that would come in and/or other employees. Please consider taking your business somewhere else. I used to love planet beach and their amenities, but I will not support someone who is so utterly rude/unprofessional to their members and the people who work for them.

I started a membership all excited but then I had a health issue come up and even had a drs note that I can not use the services and I was told ole well you have to pay two months or 99.00 and get 2 months free after my issue for cancellation . I already have bad news that this came out the blue but now I'm stressed behind this. That fine I'm going to contact the Better Business Bureau in regards to this and customer service. Don't go her because if something bad happens and it's a emergency situation they don't give AF . Go elsewhere.

Very clean and fun place. The girls are always so accommodating with my time and any changes in my schedule when I schedule appts. But most of the time, I am a walk-in. I never wait for more than ten min and most of the time it isn't any wait at all. I love the services! Red light is so good for my body and chronic pain, and the facial has noticeable difference in two weeks. Well worth the money. There is a 30 day notice to cancel Membership but u can always put your membership on hold for a nominal fee. I have done this for vacations and super busy months! All in all- for services even spray tanning and included tanning it is well worth the price! EVERYONE gets one free spa day to try it out.

Always clean. The girls are very professional and knowledgeable. While they do have great products to enhance your experience with their program, they are not pushy about it. Beds are well maintained and bulbs are replaced regularly to make sure you get the best experience. Definitely a place to go if you need some relaxing "me" time!
