Petite Salon - St Paul in St Paul, MN

I was referred to Petite Salon and have come to visit Dennis several times on visits to the twin cities and now that I live in Minneapolis he is my go-to stylist. From great summer blonde, to winter chocolate brown he has seen me through every color and cut phase I have gone through over the last two years. I wasn't familiar with St. Paul so driving down West 7th I was a little skeptical, but as soon as I walked into the Petite Salon my fears melted away. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the waiting area is comfortable and gets me up to date on all my latest magazine caleb gossip. Now for the good stuff. A dentist and a stylist are two of the hardest things to find, and a perfect one is like a unicorn and that is exactly what Dennis is(not a unicorn, but an amazing stylist). Dennis has cut and colored my hair several times now and every time, I walk away feeling like a rock star. I'm super picky about who does my hair because your hair says a lot about you. The great thing about Dennis is he does a great job when I bring in a picture of a haircut I just saw on Jennifer Anniston and does an equally amazing job when I sit in his chair and have no idea what I want. His years of experience really show and I love all the great Davines products he has introduced me too. If your looking for a great cut and or color Dennis is the best!

I have had cut and color at the salon twice. I like the salon a lot, very comfortable, friendly, welcoming. The stylist I see really understands curly hair and I appreciate her wanting to work with my natural color while being a little edgy. (54 yr. old edgy) I like their skill, professional attitude and ambiance.

I am not one to spend time or money on my looks, yet I find it totally worth it to go see Goodie at the Petite Salon. I first went to her at Aveda where she used to work as a "one-time" treat after a lifetime of 'Fantastic Sam' type haircuts. Well, I've never gone back to $10-buck-cut land. Goodie's new salon is just as great as Aveda. It's open and spacious, has a great selection of beverages while you wait and comfy couches. The best part (besides a fabulous haircut, of course!) is the scalp and shoulder rub that Goodie gives -- amazing. As for the cut itself, I can give Goodie a general "feeling" or "tone" that I'm going for, then I leave it up to her. She always does exactly what I wanted, even if I couldn't totally articulate it myself. The woman is like a style mindreader. And, her cuts are perfect for my dry-and-go style. I have shorter hair, and her cuts grow out really well since I'm likely to wait far too long between visits. Anyway, I highly recommend checking the Petit Salon out.
