Per Dona Salonspa in Mount Vernon, WA

I am writing this from my husband's account since I don't have a Yelp account. This is the best salon in the area without a doubt. Honestly I can say it is the best in WA and I won't be exaggerating. The whole experience from start to finish is extremely professional. The salon is super pretty and you can tell it is owned by a female. The vibe is happy here and positive. Hope to become a regular here soon.

Great salon, the whole experience from start to finish makes you feel special, and both haircuts I've gotten here were great. They are a little more expensive than other places in the area but the quality of the cut and the experience is worth it

I was referred to Shannon as I had relocated to WA not long ago and wasn't able to find a stylist I was happy with to cut my curly hair ... Well...Shannon is the bomb on all aspects and I couldn't say enough positive things about her skills , attitude and ability to listen . She nailed my haircut almost perfectly the First go around and because of her knowledge about curly hair , she took no offense to a tune up a few days later We will be tackling color next and I couldn't be more confident she will excel just as much with my tricky reds !

The salon is very welcoming and offers a relaxing and calming atmosphere. Phoebe is the stylist who cut my hair and She did a great job. I recommend making an appointment to have her be your stylist. I plan on being a repeat customer.

QI have gone to Per Dona for a couple of years now and considered myself a valued client as my hair is short and so I go monthly for the hair cut or trim. On December 12th. I went in for a scheduled appointment. My first reaction was that my welcome was not as friendly as I had experienced previously .. Usually they ask you if you would like some coffee, tea etc. That was not forthcoming nor was I told their would be a delay in my appointment. I waited at least twenty minutes pass my appointment time. The stylist assigned was not my regular stylist. Now usually you get that little special treatment that says you are not in the quick cut places. Not the case this time. I was in and out in twenty minutes. The stylist did not listen to my concerns and I walked out with the worse haircut I have had in years. To top it all, the price they charged me was $20.00 more than I have ever paid at this establishment. I tried to work with my hair cut but it definitely was not cut correctly. And it certainly was not styled. I have called and left messages for the manager to call me, three times now, with no response. Of course now I am a very unhappy person and can not recommend this establishment.
