I came to this salon for a simple acrylic nail removal. I am severely disappointed and upset at the results. My nails are absolutely destroyed. Typically acrylic removal is done by soaking the nails in acetone and then filing it off. The nail tech instead decided to remove them using a paint palette knife and nail clippers. This RIPPED off so many layers of my natutal and was painful! When I told him I would prefer to soak, he said that it takes too long and he prefers this. Mind you, I was the only one in the salon. After forcefully ripping off the acrylic, he filed my nails down so thin, they're like paper and even caused one finger to bleed. DO NOT GO HERE if you care about the health and integrity of your nails.

This is the absolute worse nail salon. DO NOT GO HERE! I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, Maryland Attorney General, and filing a complaint with the State Board of Cosmetologist. I called and attempted to work something out so my daughter was not charged $130 for her service. They insisted they did exactly what she asked for!! Her feet are two different colors because one foot got two coats of gel polish, which the gentleman insisted, after my daughter told him 3 times she wanted regular polish. The polish was put on rather sloppy. She DID NOT want gel on her feet!!! She got acrylic nails, and the gentleman partially removed existing nails, didn't take the old entirely off, he painted over old glue, he left bubbles, her nails were done different lengths, etc. He charged her $130 for this horrible horrible job. My daughter paid it and walked out in tears as reviews indicated a gentleman in the saloon gets very mad and screams when people complain. I talked to him over the phone. He does not take criticism well and does not like it when people complain. My daughter indicated the saloon was not a great looking place either. Do NOT let the web page fool you! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I will be contacting the better business bureau, State Attorney General, and filing a complaint with the State Board of Cosmetology. It is the fact this man will not stand behind his work. He has many complaints for similar items. This technician should have his license taken away!!!

Dear Pearl Nail & Spa Management, I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the extremely terrible experience I endured this afternoon at your establishment. I have been a customer at this location before and have never received such subpar service and unprofessional behavior. The nail technician's behavior was unacceptable from the beginning of the appointment. He repeatedly glanced at the clock, which was evident in the poor quality of the service I received for my nails. I had to point out multiple issues, including misshaped nails. To make matters worse, during the course of the service, he filed my thumb so aggressively that it caused a cut and bleeding. Despite these issues, I remained calm and patient, hoping that the service would improve as it progressed. However, it only deteriorated further. When he informed me that the service would cost $60, I politely explained that the quality of work did not warrant such a price. This seemingly triggered a rude and vocal response from him. He became aggressive, attempting to physically move me grabbing my wrist and pulling me to towards the seat. Throughout this ordeal, I continued to calmly show him the problems with his work, despite his disrespectful and aggressive behavior. I reiterated that I had no intention of not paying for the service, but I found it extremely unfair to pay the full price considering the disrespect, him putting his hands on me and the quality of the service provided. I had to get to work, or else I would have had no issue with him rectifying the situation or even removing the nails entirely, given their terrible condition. Due to the uncomfortable and unsafe environment he created, I reluctantly gave him $40 and left your establishment. Shockingly, he followed me out of the store and proceeded to verbally abuse me in another language. I must emphasize the seriousness of this situation. If these concerns are not promptly and adequately addressed, I will have no choice but to take further action, including filing a police report and pursuing legal avenues to address the unprofessional and unsafe behavior I experienced during my visit. Additionally, I feel compelled to share my experience on every social media platform, ensuring that people are made aware of the terrible service I received and urging them not to use your services in the future. I believe in giving businesses an opportunity to address and rectify issues, but I also believe that transparency is essential to protect potential customers from experiencing the same distressing situation.

The guy that did my nails looked and smelled awful. No smile and or greeting. The guy had a used pumice block- yuck! Pulled my feet in painful directions. Lots of extra nail polish on my feet. Stay away!

Don't go here! They have changed management and staff over the last several months. There is no customer service, no greeting, no welcome. Yesterday the tech spoke no English but the manager did. I struggled to communicate with the tech and the manager finally interrupted her personal phone call to translate when I yelped in pain. The tech did not do what I asked, hurt me the whole time, and the manager didn't care. My nails are crooked, look terrible, andI have polish on my skin. Don't go here!
