Pearl Beauty Salon in San Jose, CA

Had a terrible experience here, she was not very friendly and my kids haircuts are so bad, layers are all over the place, length uneven, I have to take them somewhere else to get them fixed.

Sue does an amazing job but I am very concerned about Covid rules being violated. Every time I have been there, the owner, Linh, has been maskless. Today I asked her to put on a mask and she refused. This business can be fined by the County for this behavior. It is unsafe. Sue wears a mask. Linh refuses.

I went in for a hair wash and style. The price was reasonable. During the wash my hair was being pulled, she was very rough! Later she didn't put any product on my curly hair to detangle it. She complained that my highlights were the reason for the pulling. She continues pulling my hair during the detangling process and during her trying to blow dry my hair...OMG this was the worst experience !! I literally had to get up because I couldn't bare the pulling any longer!!!

Great local salon! Sue took one look at my hairstyle and then gave me an expert trim. I'm so glad I took a chance and made an appointment with her today. Previous reviews don't do this salon justice! No glitz or glam, just a nice, down-to-earth place to get a good haircut!

Went to get my hair done here. Evelyn was the super sweetest and she did my hair. But lien needs to brighten up a little. She hung up on me while I was talking on the phone and explaining what I wanted. She seemed to pass me on to Evelyn because I wasn't a hair cut I guess. But lien needs to have more customer service like Evelyn does. I would give 5 stars for Evelyn but Lien spoiled the deal for me. She even made a customer feel bad in front of me cos of her hair. That's not ok to do. Seems like Lien is not happy with what she is doing. That's the feeling I got. She needs to brighten up a little ..
