I gave them two stars because the owner was nice. 1. I asked for knotless braid, didn't get that! When doing knotless you're suppose to start with your natural hair not go straight in with the braiding hair. 2. I asked for medium size braids, I got XS/S. It's like they're used to doing military hair. 3. The shop wasn't clean and the chairs were broken. 4. The owners mother,I assume, was sitting down to braid the ends of my hair. So uncomfortable, my neck was tilted just to make her comfortable and every time I put my neck back straight she would pull my hair even harder. 5. When I was greasing my hair, I felt parts of my real hair out! I'm writing this at 4am because my hair is itching so bad, my hair never itch when I get braids. I'm taking my hair out, just waisted my money! I would rather lose money then be miserable. They'll never see me again! Respectfully.
They (I believe it was the owner) cut my own natural hair approximately 2-3 inches pst kinky twist installation. No warning. When I took down the braids and realized the damage, I called the owner back to inform her. She was rude, unempathetic and carelessly flouted bad customer service. On top of it, she began to yell once I informed her that I would let people know about my experience. Unprofessional behavior. I would not recommend to anyone.
I pick this place because it was close to the hotel I was staying it. Lord I can't think of her name but she was very professional. The shop is in her home and it was very comfortable. She did a wonderful job. I got box braids because I'm in the military and they fit perfect under my hat. I'm a very happy customer. Reasonable prices as well. Thanks again
