Palm Beach Tan in Oregon City, OR

I've been a client of Sun West for over nine years.  Two years ago I signed up for an "unlimited" spray tan package and I paid EFT monthly.  A month ago they tried to tell me that I wasn't allowed more than 4 spray tans a month.  No where did it say this or was it in anything I ever signed.  And like I said, I have been doing this for TWO years without any problems.

The Manager was so rude and snotty and could care less about my 9+ years of business with them.  She told me that I was costing them money by spray tanning so much and that I was welcome to compare other tanning salons in the area and they would tell me the exact same thing.  Well, I did that and I found three other salons in Oregon City that really did offer UNLIMITED spray tans for $69/mo.  

So, now I am glad that I was forced to make a change and in doing so I realized how old and dirty Sun West tanning is.  I am now going to a new, clean salon with great customer service and a state of the art spray tanning machine that is ten times better than the one at Sun West.

I was just shocked at the customer service I received by Sun West after being such a loyal customer for so long.

I had a very bad experience at this place.  I went in there to buy a tanning package before a vacation to Hawaii (which was 2 weeks away).  They knew that I would be using this package right away.  I went there the next day and they were under construction and closed to customers- which they'd be for the next week!  They neglected to tell me this when I bought the package.  I ended up having to buy a package elsewhere and Sun West refused to give me a refund.  Terrible customer service.  They are not looking for regular customers.

I have NEVER encountered such horrible customer service as I have at this place. I went in yesterday to cancel my tanning package that I purchased for a year but it's now been 17months. I was told they need a 30day notice in order to cancel my credit card charges each month. Keep in mind that I have been tanning at this place since they first opened about 8 years ago so I have been an extremely loyal customer. I've been paying these damn people $40 each month for the past 17months!!! Not to mention all the other packages I've purchased in the past. I paid 40bucks last month for tanning that I never used which was fine but to avoid that problem this month I wanted to cancel it. Not only was Reba rude but completely unhelpful and unwilling to some how compensate me for the lousy $40!!!

On top of their poor customer service skills they have dirty tanning beds and a dusty receptionist area. It's disgusting! I always brought cleaner with me to wipe my bed down with before I used it. I guess you get what you pay for! My friend actually ended up getting a skin rash because she was allergic to the lotion that the person before her was using so there is obviously a cleanliness problem there. I am definitely taking my business elsewhere this winter and I hope you do too!
