Palm Beach Tan in Aiken, SC

I used to lay out in the sun, but eventually stopped doing that. I decided to give Sunless Tanning a try. I walked into the Centre South PB and Nina answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable with my decision to try it out.
I did the prep before going in for the first time a couple days later. Michelle was there that am and was professional and knowledgeable (just as Nina was). Michelle led me through the whole process (yes, there's s def learning curve for sunless tanning but that's to be expected).
The facility is clean and pleasant. I'm very pleased!

I was a long time customer of Palm Beach, I have spent thousands of dollars on products and monthly membership fees. But upon relocating to Aiken & setting foot in this store, I am absolutely disgusted by what this company is about.
The manager here, Jarreica, is extremely rude. Every time I have gone in, it has taken her at least 5 minutes to come out of the back room and notice I was standing there. I've been made to wait while she gossips with her fellow co-workers about other employees and I've listened to her vulgar potty mouth. I do not understand how this woman is a manager! If she is the best this company has to offer, it's pretty pathetic.
Worst customer service I've ever received. Don't waste your time by setting foot in this location.

Can totally see why this location gets bad review! What a waste of Time. I go to the North Augusta and Columbia road location and the service and attitudes are night and day. Went in for a normal spray tan and came out with nothing. Don't even know if that employee is able to tie her shoes! All I can say is love plan beach hate that location

I asked for a quote from Drew over the phone but when I went there the price changed! She said she forgot to mention another add on of $25! This is after I asked her few times if she's sure of the price. Seriously! Simple job you can't even do right! Btw, the spray tan started peeling after less than 3 days and I paid a lil more than $30 for it! I will not recommend this branch, it's not worth it.

I was a customer for 4 years for a while they had the nicest teams at all the locations. But not long term !  They changed managers AGAIN several months ago and changed out the spray tan unit for a crappy one. Both changes made me leave. For this kind of money I should at least be able to get a consistent spray tan without having to add another charge for scent, stronger color, etc often adding 12-15 bucks each time. The staff changes so much that you really don't want to develop a sense of joy with any of the managers...the best one they've EVER had was fired toward the end of her pregnancy..when she was having to sit down poor thing.....that pretty much sealed it for me.  When I told the new manager I was leaving...mostly due to the poor spray tanning in the unit....she didn't even show any emotion. Never tried to convince me to stay just said "Ok" and said goodbye and I was always a friendly person so I guess she just truly didn't care. I wont go back. Too many other places in town to get more for your money. Don't be fooled by the deals...either...PBT just wants your money.
