Margaret,the proprietor of Original Shears, has been making my hair look great for nearly a decade. She listens to what I think I want, but also offers up her years of expertise and recommendations in a way that yields great results. After each cut, Margaret provides me with (much needed) instructions on how to style my hair at home. When I get a compliment on my hair, I always know that's due to the great cut and color I received from Original Shears. Original Shears has a great selection of Aveda products to choose from. Not going anywhere else
Absolutely love going here. The ladies in this facility are top notch. They really know what they are doing. They always work with you to get you in within a timely manner. They do an excellent job and do not push stuff on you that you many not want.
Website satiates they are open on Monday, not so. I wouldn't trust driving to this business without first calling to verify they are open.
I gave Original Shears a call yesterday to get a cut and color. It was spur of the moment, so I wasn't sure if they'd have any openings. Leslie Burkey had an appointment slot for 6pm. I had gone to a different salon the night before and left very disappointed. I asked the stylist for a cut and color and she gave me just a root touch up that didn't cover all the grey hair! I was really hoping Leslie was going to save my hair and not break the bank! Upon meeting Leslie, I loved how she was easy to talk to and very kind. Leslie used a permanent color and covered all my grey. She also gave me an amazing cut! I have wavy hair and can't seem to find a stylist that can cut it for a reasonable price! Leslie did an amazing job and I'm so happy with the results. I'll definitely be back. I love how this salon uses Aveda hair care and the color and products leave your hair shiny and healthy. Thank you Leslie for doing an amazing job! See you soon. :)
