NUMI | A Nuriel Abramov Salon in Rye, NY

Nuriel is a very talented stylist. I have difficult fine, curly hair. Nuriel listens to what I want and tries to figure out what will make me happy and tries to cut my hair the way I want. He aims to please and is good at what he does. Parking in Rye can be a little bit difficult on the streets although sometimes you can find a spot on the street. If you can't, there are outdoor shopping areas that usually have spots, and you can pay with a credit card at the pay station. Rye is a pleasant town to be in with lots of good food and coffee after or before your hair appointment. The salon is clean, and the people are friendly.

My go to salon!! I have been coming here for a hair cut by Nuriel for 8 years and love the results more and more each time. His technique for cutting hair is unmatched and always makes me feel pampered. His staff are all very nice and the salon itself is stunning. You must come here!!

My first time at Numi was a cut and style with Alicia. I don't think I can trust anyone else with my hair! She knew exactly what I wanted by our convo and showing her inspiration pictures. Beyond happy!!!

After getting one of the best haircuts I've ever had from Lee, I thought that I found my go-to stylist and was excited about finding a clean salon that's open on Sundays. However, at the second haircut with her, she gave me a very questionable and completely uneven cut. I decided to give NUMI another chance with a different stylist (Alicia) and the same situation happened. The first time with her went well, and she did exactly what I asked for. Unfortunately, the second time around, she went rogue...and then told me after that she cut way more layers than requested because she thought it'd look good even though it's not what I wanted. I told her how I like my hair blow dried, and then she did the opposite. The most bothersome part after spending over $100 was that there was a small section of hair left 1 inch longer than the rest that I had to cut myself at home. It's something you'd expect from SuperCuts, not a sophisticated salon. :/

Needed a change and a haircut right away! I called NUMI and the receptionist was very nice & helpful she was able to squeeze me in for the next day. I am a first time customer and I honestly been searching for a hairstylist that's able to deliver what I want and I am so excited and happy that I finally found one!!! Asher gave me the haircut/style that I have always wanted. Asher is very professional, friendly and honest. He actually listened and took time to understand what I need and what I want and made sure that I am happy! Overall it was an amazing experience!! The place is clean and the staff was very friendly.
