A regular manicure typically involves nail shaping, cuticle care, and the application of nail polish, which can last up to a week. A gel manicure involves similar steps but uses a gel-based polish and UV light to cure the polish, resulting in a more durable finish that can last up to two weeks without chipping.

Brittany is the best!!! Very pleasant and a hard worker. I have finally found MY nail lady after mine retired!
The polish peeled off the very same day, with out putting my handy in water. The place is very cute inside.
I love Geauxing home to Louisiana for happy moments and being able to celebrate the 1st Black Owned and Operated Nail Salon on Westbank/Algiers/Cross The River (which ever term you like) *LOL* was such an amazing thing to witness now when you have a minute geaux to their insta and get all the feels. I am a simple gel polish chic but their work has me leaning toward living on the edge going full acrylic set with the famous Swarovski stones applied and all... okay okay I'm probably not that adventurous but if you are this is the place to be and YES its Black Owned and Operated and offer Pedicures!!! I had to get back to Houston and I went on Grand Opening day so I was 2nd to get a Manicure and was excited about it but will get to experience the amazing pedicure I see so many posts about on their other social page.
Prices are very comparable to any other places we'd go but wait... its NOLA right and NOLA Nail Cafè because they have all the drinks you want Water, wine, coffee, Daiquiri Yep on certain days of the week you can relax get a pedicure and sip on a Daiquiri!!!! Now how New Orleans is that!!!
Walk Ins or Appt and Once per month they dedicate the afternoon thru closing to males!!! Its a small space but its comfortable and has seating and techs to get everyone properly serviced and timely.... oh because I forgot to say I was not waiting over 1 hr I ran an errand across the river to CBD to pick up some things and made it back just in time to get in the chair for my turn!!! So when you are in NOLA hit up the Westbank/Algiers/Cross The River and give NOLA Nail Cafè a visit
If I could leave zero stars I would, this salon is filthy and the work done on my nails were terrible. My toes had polish all over the cuticle, it was a complete mess. My hands also had gel all over the cuticle which led to it lifting and peeling off. i thought this was an actual salon but it was really just a trailer in Algiers, the "decorations" were horrendous. Porch umbrellas cut in half and glued onto the wall, random paintings on the wall of coffee cups, half of the chairs were completely different from the rest in there. The salon overall was just cheap from the pedicure chairs to the office chairs they make you sit in for your hands. There were no covid-19 precautions in place, some employees kept pulling down their masks to talk which was unnecessary, I felt so uncomfortable there. Save your money people!! i wont be coming back
From the moment I contacted this business, I felt comfortable and valued. Making it even more special is that we are just a few days out from a hurricane and these ladies went out of their way to ensure being open. Greeted with a smile, beverages, snacks, and conversation has ensured that Nola Nail Cafe has a lifetime client! Thank you so much ladies for a wonderful experience!
