The salon was clean, well lit, staff was friendly. I was disappointed that even though I made my appointment several days prior and confirmed it through their text/online program, when I arrived my beautician was in the middle of doing her own personal touch up/head full of tissue/tint papers. I was prepared and looking forward to some extra care- like other people it's been a long time since I had been in a salon. I was expecting to have a longer appointment with conditioners, in-depth cut/style etc. what I feel like I got was a wash/cut-trim/quick blow dry, 'thank you, pay on the way out'  in and out in about 25 minutes! :(  This salon advertised it was affiliated with a high end haircare product line. I just assumed that meant more attention to each customer, guess not. This was my first time here, I did not know what to ask for-nor did they offer me any list of services or ask if I wanted additional services. It all felt much too rushed.

I've been here since last year for my hair.Christine is my hair stylist,she has more than 12 years of experience,she know exactly what I want when I show her a picture.She also take her time to advise me what color will be best for me and what style of hair cut would suit my face shape!All of the product that they use is from Aveda!it makes my hair smooth and shiny even though I had highlight so many times.This time I decided to go with a chestnut color and it turn out perfect.my favorite product is mauve shampoo and smooth fusion conditioner!this is a game changer because it makes my dry/Damage hair became so shine and moisture.i highly recommend Christine for anybody would love to get their hair done here!Thank you Christine

I don't ever get my nails done. I love getting them done, but you know, time, cash, etc. etc. But, I have a big trip coming up where I need to actually look put together  so mani/pedi was a must. I booked Christine on a recommendation from my parents who visit her often. Christine does both hair and nails. She was extremely pleasant and patient with me when I changed my mind 83 times on polish colors (big decision). I did a spa shellac mani and a spa pedi. Both services were really enjoyable, hot towels, exfoliating scrubs, massage, all the good stuff. My nails look great and I'm a hard critic. The salon was clean, quiet later at night and easy to find. Definitely recommended for those that don't care for "happy nails" and the like. I will be back!

i had an appointment for me and my daughter at 6 pm, when i arrived there Stephanie the lady whom we have appointment with said that she cannot take both of us and she would have to take only one. my hair was wet already but my daughter start crying because she was expecting to get her hair done. so I have Stephanie wash my daughter's hair so she can cut it for her instead of me. then a customer came in and Stephanie said that she can cut my daughter's hair but she will not dry it because she have another customer, I asked her how come we have appointment for two and she canceled my appointment and then she wanted to cut my daughter's hair without even dry it. I told her not to touch my daughter's hair and we were about to leave the salon because we felt mistreated by Stephanie, her customer said hi to her and thank you for pushing us in !!!

I was in search of a new place for waxing, especially looking for someone who understands face shape and could help me with finding the best brow shape, arch, and thickness for my brows when Ashley at NJS was recommended to me. I live in downtown Indy but have struggled to find a true brow artist so decided it was worth the drive. Ashley was prompt and ready for me when I arrived. She has very nice, private, and quiet massage room where the waxing takes place. I have now been going to Ashley for 2 months and I have to say, my brows look AMAZING! She is an esthetician with a true eye for aesthetics and nailed the shape I was going for. She understands the direction my hair grows in, and that I have fine hair (yes, even my facial hair) and how to work with it. My brows are actually gaining the thickness I have been seeking and their shape is on point! I was inquiring about the Aveda Hair Thickening system for women and Christine (one of the stylists there) was able to answer all my questions, she had in depth knowledge of the product line and variations in different product solutions. They provided me with a sample of the Hair Thickening System to try at home!  I wish downtown had a salon of this type, but since they are in Zionsville I will just continue to make an afternoon of pampering a regular thing!
