I have gone to NJ for 9 years. I used to get my nails done, and I think Tom is one of the best. When I had to get them done out of town, I was never as pleased as with Tom at NJ nails. I started with the gel for many years, then switched to the dip manicure. Tom is not a talkative person, nor very friendly, but if you want a good manicure that lasts then he is your guy. I have been taking my mother and husband for pedicures and the ladies do a fine job. They also are not chatty, but they do a wonderful job. the down side is that there are only two or three people working and appointment times don't mean anything. We have gone to other places in town and not been happy with the quality of our nails. My husband now has to go to a foot specialist because he went to NP in Wilkesboro and they messed him up bad.
If I could leave less than one star I would. The man who gave me a pedicure did not massage my feet nor did it appear like he knew what he was doing. When i asked about the massage he said after he paints my nails. I said okay, then after he painted my nails he lifted the arm of the chair for me to get up, and I said when do I get the massage, and he said " ive done for you already." When I said "no you didnt, you said after you paint my nails" (which never in my life has ever been done that way) he became very argumentative. I started recording and told them that he would not harass me, and he said that I had to pay and he would not finish my nails (on my hands) as i was also getting a manicure and he was removing the gell polish. He charged me for the pedicure and removing the gell polish (ive included a picture below). This is the worst I have ever been treated while paying for a service. Please if you value your time, money and self avoid this place.
I made an appointment for gel nails & decided to take a chance to just have toes Just polished too. The guy who owns the shop did a GREAT job on my nails. And he was so nice with cuticles, etc. As opposed to the rough treatment at other places! And it says "by appointment " but I saw 2 ladies walk in to get pedis & a walk-in for gel removal. But it was a rainy ugly day so that could be the difference. Anyway, I will Very definitely return here!! They don't All speak English, so make sure the owners are there to tell what you want! Color me a happy camper with this place!!
