I love coming to this salon. It's relaxing because it's a small salon and the staff always do a good job. I'm so lucky that I found this salon weeks ago and I have been coming here ever since. Keep it up guys .
I was so extremely unhappy with the service and the pricing at New Phila Nail Salon. The pricing was pretty standard at $45 for a full acrylic set and we were needing three sets (see picture of finished nails). We were quoted an additional $5 for the embellishment but when closing out at the register, we were given an over inflated price of $220 plus tax unless we were paying with cash and then taxes would not apply. Considering the quality of the work, and the fact that my daughters manicure cannot be considered a French tip as half the nail is white (yes, her nails were long enough to do a standard white tip), I CANNOT and do not recommend this place.
This took forever and i left bleeding. They were so rough. They also painted my fingers!
My nails look decent, but the place isn't very sanitary. After a lady left the nail technician whipped her area down with her hands then with a dry swifter and that was it. Moments later another female walked in sat down and the nail technician began using the same tools. It just makes you wonder what else isn't cleaned. There are child's toys everywhere! It was $14 for a nail polish change for my feet. Which was a couple dollars short of a manicure... so the prices didn't necessarily add up. Also I called 10 minutes before I went to the salon and the price was different when I paid. UPDATE: less than two weeks after I got my nails done (regular manicure) and whatever base coat they put on my nails damaged my nail beds...not happy.
The final look was good but I had dip on prior and they had no idea how to get it off. I tried to explain that just soak and it will wipe right off but she didn't listen and after her efforts both our hands were covered in sticky white nail dip. Not to mention the acetone that she had me soaking in had left over acetone with red nail polish in it so that was all over me too! As a business They shouldn't have toys and a 2 year old running around either. I wouldn't recommend this place.
