NAILS TREND 21 in Las Vegas, NV

I'm going to be super honest with this review right here and not sugarcoat anything. If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would. I have never, NEVER, EVER received such crappy service in my entire life. I'm the type of person who while getting a hair cut or getting my nails done, will hold back my tongue when something is not going the way I want because I'm *that* weak willed. HOWEVER. That was not the case this time.

This little salon is incorporated with/right inside a massage place (Star Foot Spa - great place). It's on the right of it if you're looking at the front doors.

Background info: we called the spa and asked if there was anyone who could do our nails - we had 2 guys and 2 girls. They said yes, come on by! So we did.

We should have know it was a bad idea when we arrived and witnessed the receptionist at Star Foot Spa exasperatedly telling the nail technician of Nails Trend 21 that they will have to deal with working with a separate technician who works inside the spa (Nails by Em). The technician from Nails Trend was literally throwing a fit at having to work with this Em. The receptionist said IDGAF, deal with it yourself, you're gonna be doing these customer's nails. So this girl tells us, she and her mom runs Nails Trend 21 and will be paid separately from Em. Okay.....strange but fine.

The guys did their nails first. I was led away when I overheard the Nails Trend  girl tell our friend, "We don't do men's feet." Ok, whatever sure...

When it was our turn, the Nail Trend's mother was available and had to work with Em to do me and my friend's nails. My friend had Em who long story short, cut her hand with with pumice stone, causing my friend to bleed from 3 fingers. The mother....made me wish I had Em instead. She starts by bragging that she's been doing nails for 10 years and that she's pretty much an expert in the field. She asks me if I want my nails cut and I say no. She starts filing them and ask me how it is. I say I want it straight. She cannot make it straight for some unknown reason and proceeds to cut my nail. Now, I normally wouldn't mind because you can still get a straight edge with cutting but she STILL COULDN'T MAKE IT STRAIGHT. I yank my hand away and say Stop. I've been growing my nails out and now this btch made the length uneven. What's WORST is that she cut ABOVE the skin so it was SUPER SHORT. Like who tf does that?! And you've been doing this for 10 years??? Now, after we get over that fiasco, I try to look on the bright side... I pick the colors and I'm assuming the worst has passed. WRONG. This btch can't even apply a single coat properly. She kept missing spots, the edges, the top of the nail...and my nails are super damn easy to paint - it's straight, and has a good surface area, aka super easy to paint. She proceeds to miss and when I ask her to fill out the gaps, she paints another layer (total like 4-5). And she decides to SWITCH IT UP by just dabbing a big glob of polish on her missed spots. Jesus. It was so damn ugly and unprofessional. I have attached a pic to show why the fuck we don't do that while painting nails and how fucked up they became because obviously they didn't dry properly (no fan or anything provided). I was fuming. My friend even commented how she's never heard me complain so much before, ever. I seriously wish I told her to erase her crappy job and redo it. Like I said, weak willed. Sigh.

At the end, when we were paying, the daughter ran after us and aggressively said to not combine the tip for her mom and Em. Uh yeah don't worry, your mom's not getting a tip.. (again, very unlike me but I was so pissed). She charged us 40 for that shitty nail job (and I didn't get my feet painted). Can you believe that??

Now we left and were sharing our experience with each other. I couldn't fucking believe it when she charged our guy friend 60. And for what? For just buffing his nails and putting a top coat. She wouldn't even touch his feet. AND SHE CHARGED HIM 60.

Jesus Christ. Save your money and go literally ANYWHERE ELSE. If you are at Vegas to enjoy your time, party, club, see friends and want nice nails to look at, AVOID THIS CURSED PLACE WITH THE MOST ANNOYING AND UNPROFESSIONAL SCAM MOM-DAUGHTER DUO TO EVER ENTER THE NAIL WORLD. I still get incensed when I remember this experience. Take my advice and AVOID. SKIP. Go another day without your nails done if no where else is available and this is the only one open. It isn't WORTH THE HEADACHE.

FINALLY!!! A place that takes their time, very particular and do not rush you.  I love my nails and this will be my permanent go to place. I only leave reviews when necessary (really good service or horrible) but I have to say I am very happy with my nails and pedi. I HIGHLY recommend

This place is hands down the best! Always so nice and amazing quality. They make you feel so comfortable. We recommend all our friends and family come here. You won't be disappointed!!

My bf and I had a wonderful time getting pedicures done here. Leon and Lisa are absolutely wonderful! We were offered a bottled water as soon as we sat down. We were given a remote control and were told to play whatever we wanted on the tv, we were allowed to rest on the massage chairs with the heated pads with our feet soaking in the warm water for a few minutes before the actual pedicure started. I was so relaxed by the time they came in. We chose the luxury pedicure which comes with a scrub/massage. Loved it! We will definitely return!

As soon as I was greeted, they offered me a drink and sat me down for a pedi. They put these heated pads in your shoulders which felt really good and relaxing. Needless to say my appointment from the beginning to end was very pleasant. Leon and Lisa were very attentive and they actually listen to what you want and make you feel like a VIP! My nails look so amazing and polished! Thank you guys for the amazing work. I think I have found my forever spot!
