Nails Plus in Franklin Lakes, NJ

I received a gel manicure and pedicure at this establishment a week and a half ago as a first time customer. I previously had not gotten my nails done for a few months, and due to a special occasion finally decided I would. Unfortunately choosing this establishment was the WORST decision I had made as it turns out. Due to their evidently, LACK OF SANITARY CONDITIONS, I had developed for the first time ever in my life a nail infection on my pinky nail. As soon as I recognized it today, I went in, hoping at the VERY LEAST, the owner would show some respect and take responsibility for what had happened. Instead, the owner shifted blame to me saying, "I don't know what you did the past week", crossed her arms, and quickly handed me $40 cash (did not even cover the full gel manicure I paid for) all the while sitting back down staring at her phone. I was not only embarrassed and astonished, but I was mortified at the lack of responsibility and human compassion this woman lacked. As I previously said, I had not gotten my nails done in MONTHS prior, had no polish on me prior to going here, and did NOT have this prior. The evidence is clear enough. I do NOT recommend this nail salon. Readers, beware and stay far away.

I come regularly and the customer service is always outstanding each time. Gigi gives the best foot massages and Ellie does her best to replicate my nail inspo! I highly recommend anyone to come stop by if they're looking for a clean, comfortable, and pleasant salon to get their nails done at.

What a great place! It is my second time going to Nails Plus and I have been nothing but impressed. Gigi did my pedicure and she is gentle, nice, and neat. Rachel did my nails and she is meticulous! She was able to fix the shape of my nails from a previous place with no problem. She has great technique and can do delicate designs. I highly recommend going to Nails Plus, they have not let me down. This time my nails turned out cooler than I ever thought! The place is quiet, clean, and new. Check this place out! (It is under new management btw)

Although the quality of manicures and pedicures is good, it is nearly impossible to get an appointment here. I've called the day before and they would tell me the entire following day is full. This happened on at least three occasions and is very frustrating. Will be choosing other salons in the area which are priced lower and are more flexible with appointments.
