Have been going here on and off since I live nearby. Most of the time it is from pretty good to just ok. However several months ago, a fellow that has been on staff there for a long time was doing my pedicure and suddenly picked up his clippers and CUT INTO THE CALLOUS ON THE OUTSIDE OF MY BIG TOE. ,!! It started bleeding profusely, he sticks it in the dirty water and proceeds to mop it up with anything he can get his hands on. At home I used antibiotic cream and alcohol wipes for 2 weeks before it calmed down. It has never gone back to what it should feel like. I think he was on drugs and I should have reported it. When he wanted to treat the callous he should have filed it down with his little machine. I've been back once and made sure he as well as other employees within earshot knew what he did to me. Punishment enough?
I will never frequent this salon again. The owners are rude and the technicians do not listen when I explain what I want.
This is my first time trying a nail salon since I've moved to North Carolina I've been here since March of this year and I'm always scared to try new nail salons because I always end up getting cut which indeed happened today the ladies name was Cindy and when she did cut me she didn't say anything and just let me bleed on her and then try to wipe it with her gloves and then proceeded with blood on her tools to continue the appointment. After applying the acrylic powder and letting it dry and buffing out and filing the nails normally you would wash your hands in this case that did not happen I had acrylic leftovers all over my fingers and knuckles she didn't say anything about it she didn't even say sorry for cutting me she was very aggressive and it was actually pretty painful she did a good paint job and the design is all right it's not horrible for a freehand design I paid $65. I don't think I will be going back at all.
Worst pedicure, ever!20 to 25 minutes start to finish (after a 45 minute wait in the chair without water) Scalding water, therefore no soak before starting, cuticles not trimmed, nails barley trimmed, stabbed under nail resulting in a bloody mess!!! The polish job, hideous !!! Will have to go elsewhere to have a pedicure when I can stand for someone to touch my toes!!
Waited 15 minutes, which is fine since I didn't have appointment. I was next in line and she called me up and told me to head back to pedicure chair(I was having both mani and pedi). I waited another 20 minutes back there with no water in the bowl to soak and was ignored. She then took the person after me and started giving doing her nails. Not only was this rude but it gave me time to look around. This place is so DIRTY, apparently they forget to clean as well. I walked out and nobody said a word. I've been in the spa business for almost 20 years and I'm surprised state board hasn't closed them down. I will never return.
