Nail Tech One in Howell, MI

I'd been seeing some positive things about this place and been looking for a new place anyway. I made an appointment with Lisa who turned out to be the owner, so I had high hopes I'd be finding my new go to place. However, I will not be going back. For starter there is hardly an apex which is very much needed when you have length to a nail which lead to my pinky nail breaking not even a full 48 hours after getting them done. They already look like they have a weeks worth of nail growth. They was no attention paid to the curticle area what so ever, no hand massage or warm towel experience. They want to up charge for absolutely everything but give absolutely no personal experience or do anything to set them apart. For $75 I would highly expect a more luxurious experience, not to mention my nail not snapping off after two days! I would have expected the owner to be able to do a standard apex to give the appropriate need strength. I wish I paid more attention to what they looked like before I left as I would never have paid that amount for the quality performed. I truly wish I could get a refund. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

I'm not support inclined to return here. I wanted to like this place. They had a cute little junior pedicure stand that was pink. I went in for an acrylic fill and it felt like the fellow was either new or heavy-handed. My poor hands couldn't take it. The acrylic was thick, if you prefer that. I prefer thin. He didn't ask. There was a gal there who saw my misery and she finished up. She might be quite good. The store was fine. There were a couple of other people there. But the prices were exorbitant. That or I haven't looked in a while. In any case maybe it was an off-night. If desperate I'd probably go back.

This place was sold and I just went in here recentlyz the new owners have the place looking very nice and have super comfortable massage chairs. They also have cute little girl ones too! Staff was nice and friendly and they have a large variety of nail color. Average prices as well. Pedicure was good.

This was the worst pedicure I have ever received. I was in and out in an hour (which includes waiting for 25 minutes even after I called ahead and was told to come in). The water was luke warm at best. Typically you get a pedicure to get dry/dead skin off heels and toes but the gentleman that did my pedicure maybe used the pumice stone for about 20 seconds per foot with no pressure while I held my leg up. Although my nails are painted now, it doesn't even look like I had a pedicure. I will not go back.

Booked an appointment for two people to get acrylics and they only had one person to do both of us. Person went back and forth between the two of us. The nails are way too thick and the shapes aren't even at all.
