Nail Queen inc in Canton, GA

This is for visit on 6/6/22. I thought long before leaving this review. I always leave a great review with photos of my beautiful nails! I truly enjoy getting my nails done at Nail Queen, I really enjoy the ladies and the laughter. My visits ranges from $52 to $110 and I'm always satisfied with the service. However on this particular day, which was my last I was discussing leaving reviews and Kim said, you didn't mention my name. I showed her the photo where I in-fact I did mention her name on the photo when she did my nails. Her reply was - oh you did it in black and I couldn't see it on your black skin! See photo because clearly you see her name and my skin is not black. Very racist comment! Now, I was surprised and not happy with her comment. She kept telling me that my skin is black and I said no, it is brown. Then she asked what do I check on forms as far as Race! I explained that it usually says African American and I check that, but when it says black for Race - I leave the box unchecked or write brown. Now I'm sure you gathered that I'm a woman of color. The joking of my skin tone calling it black was a true insult and is the first time I've had someone say that to me. Then she called it anchovy or black olive, again an insult. I corrected that quickly by saying my skin color is brown, not black or anything else! At this point, the entire nail shop was involved with this conversation that left me embarrassed, hurt and feeling the need to defend my skin tone, which is ridiculous. My point of this review is to say, just because someone jokes and laugh with you does not give you the right to insult them. This situation could have turn out completely different if it had happened to someone else. Respect your customer is all I'm saying! Never experienced that before!

Always taken back pretty quickly but then have to wait and wait for a technician. My lady was pretty gruff and not polite at all. Pedi was fine but gel fingernails was not done well! Won't be back!

I came here as a walk in on a Thursday morning and they welcomed me with open arms! They got me taken care of! I paid only $24 for a beautiful set of gel nails! Couldn't have been happier! They were packed first thing in the morning and they seemed very liked!

The techs were super nice no doubt about the entering customer service .. it's just they didn't fix any problems i addressed and assured me it would look okay once filing was done, this that and the third... and my tab was 70$!!! for a toe color change and a plain set of acrylics !

I LOVE this nail salon! I have been going to this salon for over a year now. Kim always does a fabulous job on my sns nails and Johnny gives the best pedicure!! I always get compliments on how great my nails look! They keep everything clean so their clients can relax and not worry about exposure during these times! Thank you Julie for all your hard work protecting your employees and clientele.
