Nail Fever in Muncie, IN

I am not someone who gets my nails done regularly.  I was going to headed to a conference where I was getting an award so I wanted them to look nice and needed a pedicure as well.

Got me in right away, great service, listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly that.  Did not try to sell me other services.  Very happy and will definitely come back.  Might start getting them done more often.

The last several times i have been to this salon they don't do what I want. They say they can't and then make other suggestions. How is it to put leopard print on one mail on each hand and put a solid fucking color on the rest of the damn nails? Done with this salon and I really liked going there, but not now.

I hate complaining about any service and understand everyone has bad days but these are the worst nails I've ever gotten. I just got a fill and the shape from my previous nails were completely ruined and uneven. I kept having ask for them to be filed more. The length is inconsistent with each nail as is the shape. They did my toes under the nail desk. I had my foot in the lady's lap while she painted then my bare foot on the carpet under the gel light. The toes look okay but I will be going to a different salon in the morning to get my nails removed and a new set put on.

My roomate told me she had a great experience here so a friend & I went to get pedicures. We normally go back home an hour because we trust places there a bit more but we couldn't wait. I got a gel pedicure, wasn't told a price or shown a menu so I wasn't sure what to expect. The nail tech tried ripping off my previous gel with a tool, then gave up and took me from the pedicure seat to her manicure station. She didn't wipe off the dust from filing and painted over it causing bumps in the polish. She had my bare feet sitting on the floor (carpet) under the gel light. No sugar scrub, massage, anything standard or expected like that. I sat at a manicure station, had to lift my leg onto her knee so she could paint, then had my feet on the bare floor. Felt super dirty, not relaxing and the result was awful. $40 for a gross experience and crappy looking nails that I had to attempt to fix at home. She also filed halfway through painting which messed up the polish and she just covered it with more polish. Worst pedicure to date and I would urge everyone to NOT go here. (I would've asked for it to be fixed but this place had no hope and i just wanted to get out as soon as i could.)

They were very quick I was in and out if there. They did such a good job and I don't think I'm going anywhere else LOL.
