Nail Envy Salon in Dayville, CT

Was camping in the area for a couple of days and decided it was time for a pedicure. Stopped in Nail Envy and they took me right away even though they were busy and I didn't have an appointment. Kong gave me a pedicure and it was absolutely heavenly! He was very gentle and very thorough. Would highly recommend Kong for your next pedicure!

Kayla did my nails & she did so good. Such a friendly environment! Nicki was also very nice and I had a great conversation with both of them. I definitely recommend coming here.

I was not pleased at all with the service I received from Tina @ Nail Envy Salon.  If I could have given minus 5 stars, that would have been a more accurate rating.  I'm visiting my daughter, and thought it would be fun to get pedicures.  I'm blind, so I cannot visually critique the results, but I can tell you that Tina was very rough, and she cut my nails extremely short.  Enough to be in pain & discomfort.  They are very rough, and the polish is uneven.  When we got back home, my granddaughter questioned why she cut my nails so short, and did not file them, after polishing them?  I don't know why she cut them after polishing them.  Maybe she thought I was blind, so it did not matter!!!  I'm quite sure I could have received a better pedicure from a student for the $37.50.  I will find another salon with a more qualified, compassionate technician that enjoys her job!

I really wanted to like this place since it's closer to my house then going into Providence, but it's not worth it at all. The woman who did my nails obviously spoke very limited English, which made it really difficult to communicate what I wanted, and to add to the communication barriers, I could barely hear her. I asked her several times to speak up, but after the third or fourth time, I gave up. I had to point out multiple times what shape I wanted my nails, what I came in to get done, and had to ask her to re-file them a few times. I even had to give up what I had come in to originally get (a colorful, ombre french tip with a square shape) because she couldn't understand me. The final nail in the coffin was that she cut me too, and now I have a cut to watch on my thumb.
To top it all off, I only found out AFTER everything was finished that I hadn't even been handed off to the nail tech I had made my appointment with to begin with! I originally scheduled with Kia and was given to Tina instead. I had specifically chosen Kia since I had seen her work online and knew she could do what I had in mind.
The only reason that I didn't rate the experience lower is because literally everyone else but my nail tech was great, and despite the language barrier, my nails came out okay enough. I'm just disappointed because some areas definitely look goopy, they missed a few spots of my previous gel polish, and I'm concerned about how quickly this set may chip. There's also bubbles and debris stuck in the clear coat. I don't think I'll be coming back here. :(

EDIT: So, after returning here for three more manicures... My points more or less still stand. This place is totally average, and gives manicures that you could easily do at home on your own time. I even got a non-gel manicure at my last appointment and left the salon with still-wet nails, even after sitting under a fan for ten minutes. It was most likely because the tech didn't wait for any of my base coat or top coat to dry.
I DO think what this salon suffers from that effects them the most is being overbooked. Every tech is working on multiple people all the time, at least 2 clients per tech. The salon also suffers from a lack of cleanliness. I was once seated at a station with a WET towel to rest my hands on, and I don't think I've ever seen a clean station in general.
Save your money and go somewhere else!

If I could give this place no starts I would. I'm really upset with the pricing and how my nails came out. The nail lady I had was super rough I told her 4 times to please be gentle when doing my pedicure and full set. She maybe me bleed on 3 fingers but cutting too much.
My nails were done today and they already look like I need a fill, online the pricing said $70 and I ended up paying $115 I honestly don't know how and when I asked they lady stuttered and said it was what I got that made the cost when I got a full set dip which online says $35 and the pedi said $35 as well. I'd rather they update the prices online but my nails honestly don't look as good as $115 should have got me.
I also told the lady about the gaps she left in my nails and she didn't respond.
