My first time here and it was a great experience. My appt was with Sam, for a gel pedi and simple mani. The pedi was very relaxing and she did a beautiful job! The mani was thorough and my nails are perfect. She has the coolest cuticle tool! I booked another appt and am looking forward to going back.
My appointment started late which wouldn't have been an issue expect I had to leave work early in order to get there on time. Now, that was my choice to do so, but if I'm going to respect the technicians time, she should respect her clients time as well. My nail technician wasn't very friendly or professional. I was sitting at her table and when she finally arrived, she didn't introduce herself or acknowledge that she was late. She just started drilling and kept to herself. After drilling off my old acrylic, she folded the towel towards me causing the powder to get all over my work clothes. It had been only a month since I was last seen, and the cleanliness seemed to decline within a short period of time as well. I work in the industry and after a long day of taking care of others and making sure others feel special, I was looking forward to someone taking care of me and treating me like my business matters. She checked her phone multiple times during my service and again when I was paying/tipping. There are hundreds of nail bars in Reno so I'm not sure why anyone would want to go somewhere where they don't feel wanted. They are also a bit on the expensive side in my opinion. Acrylic fill cost $70 when you can get the same service for $50 at other places.
Anne and her team are the best in the biz! I drive 45 minutes for my appointments - and it's worth it every time. They've perfected the hard gel application to keep maintenance minimal, which is a huge perk when I'm coming from Tahoe. The salon is always clean, welcoming and professional, with a pretty and non-pretentious vibe; truly their skill speaks for itself. I always walk out happy, and I highly recommend!
