NAIL BAR ON BAY in Beaufort, SC

I love the salon but today the lady was rude and was just throwing my hand around, she cut,  yes I'll be getting my nails done from there again just with somebody different

I came here on recommendation of someone I know well. Scheduling was super easy and there was no problem being seen. I got a gel set and things started off well until we got to polish. Polish was horrific. Splotchy, some on my cuticle, but also missing on the edges of my nails. I asked for touch ups along the way but things had gone wrong by the first UV cure. At the end of it I was tired and just wanted to go home. Absolute worst set I've had, which is disappointing since I was treating myself to an afternoon out. I've filed the polish off and fixing them myself at home. Won't be back.

Three of us went to get our nails done on our vacation and we're all very disappointed. For the gel manicure they cut half my nails off after I requested not touching the shape and are uneven. As well as they got polish all over my cuticles as week. For the classic manicure they proceeded to use their own nails to push back her cuticles instead of the tools the salon has. As for the acrylic full set, she pointed out how they weren't even after she first shaped them and after going back and reshaping they still weren't correct. Once she corrected then she said it was because of the shape of her nails. The place is clean and cute but I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. The women working at the front desk was lovely but the rest of the staff wasn't very kind.

Total lack of communication and customer service.  When a customer calls weeks in advance for an appointment then we are told we don't have an appointment is very unprofessional.   I remember the name of the young lady who took my reservation for 2 manicure pedicure appointments.  This was NOT a Bridal party appointment.  Just 2 young ladies wanting their nails done for a special occasion.   All I heard was excuses.   I'm not an unreasonable person.   I will NOT patronize an establishment that blames the client..EVER.  Such a shame they don't get it.

I, quite honestly have been going here for more than a year- it's 4 years- and spent thousands pretty quickly and mani pedi cost here exceeds what I know to be standard and what I can tell you, is that there is a manager there who does not do nails unless he can see and cause...get this... pain. I just don't want to go back. The manager disagree with customers including me, nonstop, on all sorts of things- obvious color mismatches, repairs- he'll say cheap poor all sorts of slander, and the actual higher costs than literally every salon in the country that I can think of even at the fancy Four Seasons and for that reason I have discontinued going despite the cleanliness and friendliness and kindness of all others there. He really just ruins it and the good feelings are out the door and only out the door. The other salons in the area- I'd say most local born n bred women here- prefer to say manis are done in the Bluffton area and then snap them on from CVS or get an instant dry polish. It costs more than other salons and I did not understand why I'd pay to have that unkindly experience, nearly every time. The highest costs, poor management, disrespectful and disagreeable to regular customers have brought me to my very limit on this establishment. Hate it.
