Hair Play Salon & Color Bar in Beaufort, SC

This place isnt terrible but also isn't somewhere id expect to pay what they charge. I only received a manicure with shellac but I probably wont go back.  The place is very clean and nice but I wish they would of told me that they ONLY do AMERICAN french not the usual french where the white pops and the nail has a pink tint.  The nail tech was very nice but I just didnt get what I wanted and wish they would of told me over the phone that they do not do certain types of manicures.

Have you ever had a hairstylist walk out while coloring your hair? If you never have then go here. I have never seen such an unprofessional operation in my life. I showed up at 1 PM and left at 8 PM. The first stylist made my hair look like a calico cat. The second stylist had ADD and made me look like complete crap. I took several pictures. And it was nothing like the pictures I provided.  During the first appointment the first stylist started crying and left the salon. Then the second stylist started she proceeded to turn my hair into a gray color and I am 29. She tried to convince me that it looked great. The owner was contacted he came to the salon around 6 PM. I waited to see if they could fix it. Not to my surprise they could not. I left the salon looking like a skunk. I got a box dye and covered their mess. It took over a year for my hair to repair. Again I wouldn't wish this salon on my worst enemy. It was laughable if anything it was a good story. They think they're charging top salon prices for good work but their work is mediocre. I have been to salons in charleston, savannah, Los Angeles, NYC and this was the WORST SALON I've ever been to. The color they use is used at small town salons and they should charge less. It's ok to buy cheap but then you should charge less.

The 2nd stylist found my earrings I had accidentally left at the salon, and she proceeded to tear them apart and leave them in the bathroom for me to see. She did replace them later but... REALLY? Who does that? Children. Not professionals. It's a Mickey Mouse operation and they need to have a salon overhaul.
