Got a no chip manicure yesterday for bachelorette party I leave for today and literally already have a chip with no time to fix. They literally put the layers on so beyond thin and really skimp on the service. Honestly only salon I've gone to where this consistently happens. Beyond frustrating and such a waste of 60 dollars.
Got a dip manicure with my friend. Both of our manicures just came right off within one week. We did not get a refund or anything. Absolutely do not go here!
I'm not sure why I only have bad experiences with nail salons but, I actually feel like I need to warn others about this place. It took me a few weeks to write this review but better late than never. I arrived for a mani/pedi and when I sat down on the pedicure bench (lol) the lady doing my pedicure seemed nice enough. When she started my pedicure (after me waiting for about 10 minutes sitting on the "pedicure bench", she was using a nail buff LITERALLY ON MY TOE'S SKIN! Like it wasn't even buffing the nail, she was missing the nail completely. I let it slide because maybe she was new? Bad choice-- She cut my skin about 6 different times while trimming my cuticles. One was so deep that I actually asked her to stop with the service (about 4 minutes into the appointment) because this seems super unsanitary and a potential cause for a skin infection. My toe was bleeding heavy and I it was so painful. Not to mention all those germs floating around in that water and with 4 open wound cuts at this point, i said no thanks and if we could please stop. I told the receptionist I'd pay for the service thus far and she said to not worry about it. She asked what happened, I started to explain, and my pedicure lady starts shouting and gas lighting me and telling me I had too much cuticle so "of course she cut me multiple times". Like....just let me leave lol. Anyway I went to Nail Craft less than a block away and they gave me one of the best manicures/pedicures I've EVER had! That's my new spot. Anyway. Just be wary of this place because your skin could be cut open big time/multiple times.
I love this place! Vicky is the best...her attention to detail is unmatched. Mitch and Rose, at the front desk, are always friendly and accommodating. There's a sense of community here that makes this place super special. I love Nail Bar (Florida street)!
I wanted this experience to be the same quality care I've gotten at the Downer location. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. Staff was unprofessional and rough during my manicure. Cut two of my fingers and caused me to literally bleed everywhere. Very disappointed I paid to be hurt.
