Nail Art Salon in Onalaska, WI

Great service, super quick and efficient. The salon is cute and updated and very clean. The techs were kind and attentive. I will be a repeat customer!!

I've been a regular customer of Nail Art on and off for 3 years - acrylic fill and gel pedicure every three weeks. I'm on time for my appointments, have always been friendly to staff and other guests, and always tip well, even if there were times I haven't loved my nails. I have had to wait multiple times because they've overbooked (over 45 min one day) and have watched other clients wait. One day, I watched a client wait well past her appointment time just to be told the tech wouldn't do the design she wanted as she didn't have time. One day a lady and her elderly mother were in there and the lady was crying over how her elderly mother was being treated. I've bit my tongue every time I've witnessed this sort of behavior happened to me or another guest. Today, I had an appointment for the usual. As I'm watching, more and more customers come in and wait, I'm notified that they made a booking mistake and she asks me to come back at 3 for my fill - my initial appointment was at 930. I initially agreed, paid for both services and tip in cash and left before deciding I'm not coming back later and want my money back for the fill. She agreed and when I came in for my refund, she asked why I'm upset. For the first time, I decided to be assertive and voice my concerns. She refunded my money for the fill but attempted to keep the tip for the fill that was not performed and initially claimed I paid her that much. After leaving, I message her to give her another opportunity to rectify the situation as Vee does good work and the salon is clean. She messages me back to state that I was in the wrong and make excuses for the scheduling issue. I attempted to restate my motive was to allow her another chance to save our business relationship. It was then that I realized I had also been blocked on social media (we were friends prior to today). Super disappointed in how little her customers are appreciated. I'm also disappointed it has come to leaving a negative review as I tried and would have preferred to have handled this directly, in private with her.

My lady went there with an appointment and the guy was so mean and awkward that he made the other staff and customers uncomfortable. He gave her the wrong nail shape and color. Kept saying that "we don't have this or that color". He made the whole vibe wrong. Especially for an occasion as New Years Eve. She will not be going there again and it's sad because her having her nails done weekly is as important to me as it is for a woman to have their nails done. And they said they didn't have glitter?! What nail salon don't have glitter? At one point or another every woman wants glitter on their nails.

I've tried SO hard to like this place. I typically always have a reservation and many times have to wait 30-45 minutes once I get there. It's just bad business and bad ownership. You've got to be somewhat transparent with your customers about the wait (or maybe heat up the water a second time while they're waiting?!) and it would be a little more understandable. Hopefully you can absorb some advice.. seems to be a common complaint.

I was very disappointed in my manicure and pedicure. Both were finished within 50 minutes. When I asked questions during the manicure she blew me off and wouldn't let me look at her work. The pedicure did not include a leg massage. Given that I received basic services I was not expecting the $90 bill at the end (no prices were posted). I felt they were more worried about getting people in and out rather than quality.
