Mystique Salon (Phenix Salon Suites) in Littleton, CO

A few months ago I paid my very first visit to Mystique Hair Salon. Nicole was the lucky one who fixed my gross blonde out growth hair ( I was LONG overdue). At first I was hesitant. I never just make appointments with hairstylist I do not know (I am very picky with my hair and do not let just anyone touch my hair). Because of Nicole's reviews on Yelp, I decided to give her a try. I am certainly grateful that I did! Right now, my hair still looks good! You do not see much out growth. Usually, you begin to see my hair's out growth within a few weeks. Today, my hair still looks I just got it done! Nicole is great, talented, kind and definitely knows how to do my hair. Thanks Nicole, I will be making another appointment with you soon. Not sure when, but you will see me again!

I was looking for professional advice when taking my daughter to get her already colored red hair bleached so she could dye it light blue. Unfortunately, I had the feeling Valerie would have kept re-applying coat after coat of bleach until all her hair fried off. I had to put a stop to it myself, when I saw a clump of her hair come off in Valerie's hands. I went in with the thought that a professional would use her knowledge to warn me and even to talk us out of doing this if it would be so harmful. If she had done that, she would have gained a customer. I felt she was "doing what the customer asked for" not looking out for our best interest. When I go to an "EXPERT" I am going with the understanding that I know very little, and need guidance and honest advice. So, I dropped $180.00 to have a very unhappy daughter, and total disappointment in trusting professionals. We will not be returning to this salon.On top of that, my friend just told me that she couldn't find a stylist that would bleach her red hair, because it is the impossible color to remove! Wish I had spoken to my friend first. Addendum: It is 3 hours later, I have to give Valerie credit for calling me, listening to my situation, and refunding my money.

I've never written an update for any of my reviews, but I felt it was necessary in this situation. Shortly after my review posted I was contacted by Valerie, the salon owner, and she apologized for my experience and I was given a refund for the full amount of the original gift certificate. Above and beyond customer service! Thank you very much!

I bought a groupon for partial highlight and haircut . Nicole did my hair and she was a wonderful stylist. She did listen to what I wanted and did a great job. I really loved how my highlight turned out. The place is very clean and neat. Everyone seems to be super friendly. Their pricing is reasonable, even without the Groupon Deal. I totally would come back and would recommend it to my friends.

Love this place so neat and clean. The women are always super friendly. Jessica the women who doesmy hair is always so sweet and she always does such a wonderful job I've been coming here for a while now. I can't wait to try out the new salon they have their. I recommend Jessica to all of my friends and my family she's the best
