Mystic Nail Bar & Organic Spa (Near Jelly Donuts & Kolaches) in Gulfport, MS

Decided to give this place a 2nd try and I really liked the lady who did my pedicure this time. I normally don't write reviews, but I just had to throw this one out because it bothers me. I walked into the salon saying I called for a pedicure and requested a young lady who works there and the person who was on the phone with me didn't tell me that she wasn't here, but that's ok because sometimes trying someone else doesn't hurt until you find someone you like. Now when I walked in the guy told me to sign in and as I was signing in he said, "You look like you're Vietnamese." Ok.... That was very very awkward and I just gave him a awkward stare and said "yeah" then he says "Really? You don't look Vietnamese." First of all that's rude to even ask or judging about someone's ethnicity before starting a service. At least get the know the client first before finding out what their ethnicity is in the long run. Second of all does my ethnicity matter?? This is the third time someone's asked me about my ethnicity before doing my service at this place. Someone from my first experience at this place asked and and today is my second time at this place trying to explore other people so I can have my to go lady and spot but 2 people asked about my ethnicity before my service got started and it felt so awkward. I get that they weren't being racist or anything, but please do not ask about someone's ethnicity like you're friends with them on the first day you meet them especially at a business place.. Overall the lady who did my pedicure did an amazing job that I'll keep coming here, but the only thing that bothered me since the first visit and this visit today was asking about my ethnicity before service and that shouldn't even be the first question to ask anyone anywhere you go. It's just very rude.

My husband and I both get our toes done here. The girls always take there time to make sure we are happy with our pedicures. Relaxing atmosphere and no rush.

I have been a faithful customer for about a year. I always make appts and I don't cancel. My appt was for 5...i show up and she informed me I was 30 min late...I work til 430 and I wouldn't make an appt for earlier then 5. They overbooked I guess.  I'm very disappointed in the service. I'll never go back. She embarrassed me and I won't return.

Simply put my wife's and I experience at this location was AMAZING. Incredibly friendly employees and great prices. My wife got her nails done and I got my feet done. Amazing and amazing outcome! Very pleased. We'll definitely be coming back and so will my wife. Great prices and great results.

This place is amazing, friendly staff. The girlfriend and I enjoyed the atmosphere. The price is very reasonable.
