My Nail Tech in Reidsville, NC

my nails don't look bad, but 3 of my fingers were cut with the electric file. I was in pain for most of the appointment. they were not gentle and very unprofessional. lastly, I was overcharged for what I got. I will not be going back!

My Daughter & her friend had her nails done here for the FIRST time. She charged my daughters card for $65 for a plain set of powdered nails.
When I came back to pick them up, her lights were off , doors locked, teenagers outside! Now this entire community knows me, and they know what type of mother I am! I would neverrrrrrrr leave 2 girls standing outside at night alone!
I went to Kim's shop the next day after work and she was not in, so I took a picture of her price list. It didn't add up! The next day after work I called Kim to dispute the charges.
She told me she makes verbal agreements with her clients. I then asked her to make these prices to make sense, because it's not adding up. She told me it's her shop and she can charge what she wants!
It was clear that Kim had customers because I could hear them in the background. I tell Kim this is bad business and let me remind you of what is printed on this list...Kim begins to YELL at the top of her lungs over the phone and says LET me Remind you to shut up and she hung up on me!
I would have neverrrrrrr let my daughter come here if I would have read her Facebook reviews first (which she took down after I posted my experience on my own page).
It seems that Kim has had an issue of overpricing who she wants to and not controlling her behavior or attitude.
I read one review where a lady discovered  after the fact that Kim had charged her credit card $60+ dollars for an 8 year old to have her nails painted !
My intentions of posting our experience with this establishment is not of ILL intent, but to show Kim that you cannnnnot get away of robbing the community who works hard for their OWN money! Especially teenagers with Jobs!
My only hopes are that the workers in that establishment are able to work under a fair management and are treated with respect as well. I also hope that she realizes that you cannot so wrong by people and expect a positive outcome. I was always told to be Humble ... or life will humble you!

Do NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY at MY NAIL TECH!!!!!!  Sooooo I dropped my daughter and her friend off  at My Nail Tech before closing on Monday to get their nails done it was around 6:30pm shop was empty. My daughter had a picture of exactly what she wanted. Simple Powder with tips..these look nothing like the picture). She had no nail repair , nothing extra . Just needed a full set and color. When I arrived at 7:25pm to pick her up my daughter and friend were standing outside , shop closed ,lights off. !!!!!!When they got in the car I asked her if she had saved any money... she said Noooo she charged me $65! I immediately start looking for jewels and all kind of designs .... NOTHING! Her friend immediately chimes in and says she told us she was originally going to make us pay $75 , but she changed her mind ....and she didn't do our nails she had one man do both of ours at the same Time while she cleaned up. I asked did you know about the price before or after their nails were done , she said she asked for my card and told me while I was getting my nails done.
(Blank stare) so immediately I'm hottttt! So I called Kim today during business hours...she remembered exactly who my daughter and friend were. She said she charged her this much for the length and the shape , I said that's not on the price list. I need you to make it make sense . This is when she got crazy on me . She then begins to tell me she can charge whatever she wants it's her shop and she makes verbal agreements with her customers.  I say again ...make this make sense to me Kim...let me remind you again what my child asked for and help you add up these prices on this public list. Thissssss crazy woman begins to yell at me at the top of her lungs in front of her customers and says let me remind you to shut up and hangs up on me!!! (Oh I'm really smiling now) At this point I'm grabbing car keys ready to meet Kim in person, But I paused and prayed! Lord that took strength!
Kim knew these girls were just happy to get their nails done and were expecting the picture ... Kim knew she could take full advantage because of the time frame ... Kim knew if she took that payment while they had started their nails they'd have to pay! Kim knew to lock them doors and turn off the lights at 7:26 before I got there ....but what Kim is about to find out is that I'm going to hit her Pockets! Since you want to take advantage and Steal from kids ... I'm encouraging everyone I know to STOP giving your money to this woman !  Her reviews tell me everything I need to know!

Kim is very rude and will jack up the prices at the last minute. She yells and screams at you when there is an issue and hangs up.

The owner Kim is RUDE, ARROGANT, and did I mention RUDE, The manner in which she speaks to certain customers is unprofessional on many levels. As a customer, when you enter an establishment where you will be spending your money, you should at least be made to feel welcome. I no longer live in the area, however when I am home and need nail services I avoid this salon. They take advantage of the customers in this small town because they feel they have the market cornered. If you are wise and care how your dollar is spent, don't go here. Go where you will be valued and appreciated.
