More Hair Studio and Spa in Baltimore, MD

I truly enjoy coming to More Hair Studio. Today, Mr. Allan Van Johnson trimmed my Sisterlocs and helped me achieve the look I was looking for. He asked about my vision, explained the process, and created a beautiful style. My locs now have body, look more stylish and are less heavy. I highly recommend More Hair Studio and Salon and more than recommend Mr. Allan Van Johnson.

If you asked me two plus years ago I would have said you are insane to not book an appointment immediately at More Hair! That has drastically changed in recent months. My last appointment ever at the salon was last month when the stylist charged me $200 to only complete front half of my head in 4 hours and 15 minutes and then suggested that I book another appointment with the owner or manager to see if they can complete my hair in 4 hours next time! Huh? No thanks. Especially when I have had literally 25 entire head reties there prior to this appt that took 4-5 hours. And in case you are wondering, I kept a strict 4 week retie schedule and came in pre-washed! I truly wish the salon the best as they are great people and Black owned/operated. But for my hard earned money to be invested somewhere, and a somewhat long time customer, I would hope for a better level of care and efficiency!

This is the best Salon I have been to thus far. The way they wash and style hair is amazing and all the products they used on my hair were great quality. My hair came out amazing even after sleeping with the style in my hair all night. DiMiriam styled my hair and was really knowledgeable about how my hair would react to certain products and styles. Highly recommend going here!!! :)

So i went to this Salon for the 1st time and I loved the vibe. There was a $25 deposit that was charged to me on top of the cost of my hair. I loved the customer service and how they handled it. I came back at my own convenience and was given the extra money charged back in cash. Ask ahead of time how much and have cash. There is a $3 fee that is charged when swiping your card. Moyin did my hair and i have thin edges but she didn't settle for making my mohawk just happen she did it until it was perfect. I'm glad she cared about how I looked and not just the money. She even texted me a week or so after just to see how i was doing. I loved my hair and the experience. I compared finding a good hair dresser to finding a church home. I think I'm going to join, can the church say amen....lol
