As soon as my friend and I walked in, I was immediately unimpressed with how dirty and unkempt it was. There was a bridal party there with open food on the lobby table and all of the chairs were loaded up with their purses and other belongings so there was no where to sit. Kids were running around and crawling around on the floor. No one even came to the desk to check us in right away nor were we greeted. My friend had made the appointment for a haircut and her stylist made us wait over half an hour after the appointment time. Once she got in the chair, Emily (the "stylist"), combed her dry wavy hair and began cutting at it without sectioning which is a no-no and I should have pulled her out of there immediately. Hair cutting 101, you shampoo and condition, then cut the hair wet, then dry and straighten hair before touching up layers dry. She hacked up my friends hair so badly, she was crying after we left! I had to fix it, thankfully I graduated from cosmetology school so I was able to, but she lost 4" in length because of how much this woman hacked up her long, beautiful hair. Not to mention it was all terribly uneven, the bangs were awful and crooked, and none of what she attempted to do had any rhyme or reason. The absolute worst experience I have ever had at a salon. It's a disgrace to the industry and should not be in operation. Emily should not be allowed to use shears or a razor on anyone!! So much regret! Wish we would have walked back out as soon as we arrived. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, give your money or time to this disgusting establishment!!!

I love the salon MOOD a salon. I have had nothing but a awesome experience. The environment is relaxing and the salon is very modern. I would recommend to anyone to book appointments from color, makeup, cuts or eyelash extensions. They can do it all!!
