have been going here for over 7 years. Michelle is the best. She is easy to communicate with and has done a great job with cuts, style, color, highlights, and lowlights. I look forward to the martini glass full of chocolate. They have hot drinks available too. It's not too noisy and somehow it not as smelly as other places I've go to.
Thought my boxed color was great til Shayna colored and foiled my hair! The color and depth of color was unbelievable! It was also my first ever foil. I'll never color my own hair again. Not to mention how relaxing the process was!
I went to have my hair cut last March-I'm still dealing with the worse cut. I had it trimmed in May by another establishment and was told that I had too many layers for the Bob Cut that I had first requested. Thinking back - I should have asked for my money to be refunded.
I have been going to Monroe's Salon and Spa since I moved to the area 5 years ago. Admittedly, I am very minimalist with my hair. I don't color and come every month for a simple trim. My style is basic shoulder length with some light layers. But I am always happy with how my hair looks and they have taught me a lot about the proper way to blow dry and tips for styling my thin, uncooperative hair. (I kind of fail in the girl department, clearly.) They are always nice and everything else I see them doing looks great. Also, their prices can't be beat. My mother and sister pay double what I do at a salon in Worcester and friends of mine pay nearly double at other salons in the area. I highly recommend Michelle! They also do hair and make up for weddings, proms, etc. They are doing hair and make up for my wedding next month and I am thrilled - it is so nice to be in the hands of people who know me.
Monroe's has recently moved but the service remains great! I have had my hair done by Michelle and Heather and have been pleased every time. The salon offers free drinks and snacks to enjoy while you wait too, which is an added plus. Glad I found this place!
