Mojave Rain Salon & Apothecary in Temecula, CA

I had an appointment with Britt and I came prepared because I had a particular haircut in mind and I brought a picture. She completely disregarded the picture and chopped off hair that will take at least a year to regrow, probably more. I believe she either did it on purpose or because she has no idea of how to cut hair and I can only tell you what happened. I hadn't been in her chair for more than five minutes when she told me that she and her husband, who appeared to be in their 20s were being audited by the IRS for the second year in a row. Because she was so open with me I began to talk about Trump and how I disliked the way he behaved at times because he could be incredibly rude and disrespectful to the point that he wouldn't shake hands with a person who is running against him. That was the only point that I made but she was obviously a rabid Trump supporter because I watched her continue to just chop my hair off and I kept holding up the photo and in the end I looked exactly like the little Dutch boy that you have probably seen in pictures. It was as far from the picture as anyone could even imagine. As I complained and asked her what in the world she looked to her coworker for support and I am very condescending way. I was in shock! It was the worst haircut I've ever had but also it was an assault because she knew what I wanted and she disregarded it. I have no idea because she would not say a word not even I'm sorry you don't like it nothing just as condescending and rude as any person I've ever met on the street and I just paid her $65. She continued to be very condescending to the cashier regarding me and then she finally said "I am over this the whole Trump thing everything I'm over this." Well I'm not because I still look in the mirror and hate my hair every day and hate the way I look with my hair every day. Because it was clear that no amount of talking to her would change anything I decided to pay her and then take it up with the owner. Long story short the owner told me I was on my own, Britt did not work for her and she had no intention of refunding my money. She wasn't appreciative of the fact that I was going to leave a negative review but that I could go I had because she would get many positive reviews. If I had known Britt was self-employed I would not have paid her. The owner told me that every salon in Temecula only rented chairs except for one. However,I went to the Salon de Cheveux and they told me that that was absolutely not true and that even the ones where it is true the owner takes responsibility for the people that they allow to work in their salon. I hate my hair every day that I get up and I keep looking at how long it was the day I went in and how long the hair was in the picture and I just feel a little sick.

Jen M is great! I went in for a hair cut and deep conditioning treatment! I'm very picky with my hair cuts I don't like them to look straight across or clean.. Jen did a great job understanding and texturizing to my satisfaction! The salon is clean, cute and relaxing! I enjoyed some wine and a book while my conditioner set! I highly recommend Jen !!!

My first visit to Salon Ambre for The Works facial. It was absolutely amazing. My face has never looked so good with the different hydration's and infusions that were included in the facial . Aileen the facial expert was amazing explaining each step . She was very professional and knowledgeable and even recommended a specific cleansing plan that would fit my facial needs moving foot ward . I highly recommend her.

Britt Aston is a fantastic stylist and I always walk out of Salon Ambré looking great. Britt does such a great job coloring my hair, covering my grays and making me look great. Britt is the best in Temecula for lighting up your hair a little or a lot. My hair naturally has a lot of red undertones which don't look great when you want to go light. Most stylists don't even know how to handle that properly but Britt understands how to achieve the right tone. My hair always looks so healthy and great. And since getting hair down can take some time, Britt is just a really fun and great person to hang out with so it feels like a great time getting my hair done. Best hairstylist in Temecula! I highly recommend!

Aileen Rego is a lifesaver! She saved my face from the hazards of adult acne and self sabatoge with so many different products. She exfoliated and worked her esthitician magic then told me to simplify the products I was using. I bought a cleanser and moisturizer/sunscreen and in less than two weeks I feel like I can go outside without makeup now and not hide my face. My boyfriend even commented this morning at how clear my face is looking!!! All great stuff!!!
