If you are a well gifted customer that has natural thick eyebrows, don't come here for an eyebrow wax!
The first time, she did okay, I had to tell her that she missed some spots. The second time, I didn't say anything. I should've known when she didn't even gave me a mirror to look the after look.
I work near by so I was rushing, next thing I know I'm in my car annoyeeeeeed! She did so good on one but on the other one she left me no hair!!!!
No matter what time of the year it is, LY will always do an amazing job on your nails. Her and her husband run a beautiful, clean salon and they're so pleasant to see every two weeks. I always make an appointment, and get seated as soon as I walk in. I've never been more satisfied with a salon than I have been with Modern Nails these last two years.
First time here, and my daughter had an excellent experience with Ly (Lee) but my experience with my tech, Man Chau, was very disappointing. Myself and my two daughters received manicures here. Ly helped my 6-year-old and really took her time with her and talked to her and even painted cute designs on her fingernails. Mr. Chau painted my nails and filed the side of my finger causing me to bleed! It hurt like a paper cut (ouch!). He also did a rush paint job on my teenage daughter it wasn't as clean as Ly's work. After he painted my teenaged daughter's nails he did mine and whilst I was getting mine done Ly painted cute smiley faces on my teenaged daughter's nails. Mr. Chau gave me $3 dollars off my service and apologized but I just feel like if he paid better attention to details he wouldn't have filed my finger causing a cut. I came here because my neighbor recommended this place, and I plan to come again but I will would not recommend Man Chau as your technician.
Just recently moving to the area I was a little hesitant to get my nails done. But I loved the result. I always go for a French Tip & I personally liked my tip thick. I didn't get questioned & the nail tech did as I asked. Very pleased& will definitely continue to go.
Lee is amazing!!! She took her time and I have never had my nails look this good from a salon in Beaufort. Highly recommend!!!
