Once again I was right on the money.In my last review I spoke about Mitzis Hair Design and my opinion and I got threatened with a (lawsuit)HILARIOUS,just for telling what I know is the truth!Rita from Gallatin,decided to also let me know that her son,when I told her it was a Free Country made sure to make it sound like her son single handedly fought the war for my rights.Dont get me wrong I support our troops,But they don't have anything to do with this salon.Like I said when you hit or strike a nerve on things that are truthful,or have a ring of truth to them people get angry or upset.I was also so right about keeping employees she lost one this week.I will continue to give my opinion on what I want,when I want.Keep in  mind Rita aka Mitzi you cant even stop me.If im not threatening you,being abusive theres nothing you can do.If you would like I will reveal myself,and keep telling the truth since im not a woman and a coward.I guarantee you would not say it to my face you have had many opportunities because you would fold like a house of cards!

Please don't go to this Salon. is a waste of time and money. And don't ever buy their Groupons, Living Socials, Sweet Jack or anything like that because once they hear that you are going to use one the show is over. "Oh you have a Groupon, I guess we will see you again NEVER unless you find another Groupon ..." RUDE
I had long black hair and I wanted to do ombre, I called this place and told them what I want and they asked me to go for a consultation with Mitzi "because she is the best" and so I did. The consultation lasted 60 sec:
Me: hi! I'm here for a consultation with Mitzi.
Girl: what is it about?
Me: well ... I want ombre hair color. I called 2 days ago and you advised me to come for a consultation because you weren't sure if it can be done (I dyed my hair jet black for over 8 years).
Girl: oh ok. Mitziiiiiiii the girl with the consultation is here.
.....
Me: hello
Mitzi: hi
Me: so I want black/red ombré hair. do you think you can do it?
Mitzi: (she wasn't event looking at me) absolutely, just schedule an appointment and we will do it.
Me: are you sure? Because you know I tried it before and it didnt work and I've been told that is pretty much impossible to go red from black.
Mitzi: absolutely
Me: one more thing. I see that you have a groupon for a haircut, blow dry and partial highlights. Will I be able to use it because I want a trim too?
Mitzi: you might but you still have to pay extra
Me: ok. No problem. I will see u next week.
One week later I go in there all excited... She invites me to her work stations and I go ...
Me: so I bought that Groupon and it should cover for my haircut and maybe the  bleaching??!! Here comes the BOOM
Mitzi: well I'm not sure we can do this so I'm gonna try stripping the color off your hair and if is not gonna work out we will call your Groupon even.
Me: but ... I thought you said you can do it
Mitzi: me, no. I never said that. It shouldnt be a problem though. Do you still want to do it.
Me: well yeah. That's why I'm here.
She starts doing her thing ... I was asking her questions about my hair and she was like ... Hmmmm aha aha aha ... no answers ...
50 min later my hair was still black and she goes "well I have never seen anything like this before, I guess is not gonna work out.
Me: okay ... I guess I'm done trying (all I wanted was to get out of there ASAP, hoping my hair didn't fall out).
And I dare to ask... So can I get a cut?
Mitzi: (with an attitude) how do you want it?
Me: just a trim on what I have now. Side long layers and a V shape in the back.
When she finished up I had short layers all over my hair and 4 inches less on the back. I thought I'm gonna punch her in the face but I didn't have time to do anything because by the time I got off the chair she was long gone, she just walked away ... Didn't have time to do or say anything. I know that is just hair and will grow back but is my hair and no one should do anything but what I ask them to do.
I got something with me though ...  All the hair that she cut that day. all was over my clothes because her place is a mess and so is she and wounds on my scalp from the bleach. Cause I had to tell her that my scalp is burning and she needs to wash it out ... The worst hair experience of my life :(((

I really wanted to like this salon. It's fairly close to home and I found a Groupon for $49 for a shampoo, cut and 14 highlights, so I made a reservation.

From the moment I walked in I felt like i wasn't worthy (they knew i had a Groupon when i made the reservation) They kept saying "groupon" like it was a bad word. My hairdresser was nice enough, she TRIED to make conversation but she really made me feel like I was bothering her.
I even ended up buying some over priced shampoo to try to make up for the "groupon" and asked to buy some of the hair serum she used on my hair. They didn't have any for sale so she poured some in a tiny teeny little bottle and charged me for 50%...whatever. (if it was me, i would have given it to my client that i was trying to get to come back)

On top of that, the owner and her daughter were discussing the price (how much to charge, full price or not) in front of me.

Perhaps it was because i wasn't a regular (not sure HOW you become one) or the fact that i had a coupon (don't sign up for the program if you don't want to accept them) or because i wasn't Southern, but whatever it was I obviously didn't have it.
