I must say, the staff is very welcoming and lovely. Butthe french manicure is not really great. Ive chosen the shellack french manicure and am more than disappointed, the price of 45 dollars would let you assume you get a decent manicure but the white tip is too thick and totally uneven. The lady who did my nails was very harsh and rough and it actually really hurt when she did the cuticles. My request to not cut them, and just filing them a little since i wanted to grow them longer, got totally ignored and she filed them so much down that it was like trimming them down and cutting them. Furthermore is my topcoat all over my skin which causes the manicure to peal off as the polish certainly does not stick to skin. And I just got my manicure done yesterday, 24 hours before. I cant complain about the regular manicure but i would def say that the french and the french shellack is not the greatest. Be aware of that and be clear about wishes! Sometimes it's hard to communicate and express yourself clearly without sounding arrogant and making the other side feel awkward.

My sister is graduating from high school this weekend (!), so my mom, sister and I went to go get a celebratory manicure. We've been to this salon a bunch of times, and it was always pretty good! Today, though, I have to say, I was pretty disappointed. When we walked in, it was PACKED. OK fine. It's graduation weekend. I understand. We each picked out our colors and waited. They took my mom, then my sister, and then me. Both my mom and my sister were immediately waited on, but I just sat there. And sat there. And sat there. A girl came by, hurriedly took off my existing polish, and then proceeded to get up and work on someone else's pedicure. Um. OK. After both my mom and sister were finished, they finally got to me. The woman who did my nails was nice but SO slow! And then halfway through doing the polish, she just got up and left. Fortunately someone else took over, but what is this? Tag-team manicures? I am happy with the job they did, but the service left a lot to be desired. Not sure if I'll be back when I'm in town next.
