I was in town for business and i desperately needed a hair cut. Millbrae Hair Salon was 2 blocks away from the hotel so I took a chance. I do't remember the stylist's name, but I did not like the way he kept on telling me that this will be the best haircut ever. I mean really? I haven't sit down in the chair yet. I watched him suspiciously, how can he be so confident? Well, after 20 minutes I have to agreed with him. It was a great cut! The problem is now I have to fly in to get my hair cut every 2 months now. Haha!

Been coming here for years. Max and Mai are always nice and cuts really good. Love coming to this place.

I've been driving from the East Bay to have Mou cut my thick, wavy hair because the cut is incredible for such a reasonable price. He's precise, layers expertly, and works around my waves really well. It's an interesting salon, one of the hairdressers can start yelling at people, but as far as I can tell it's not without reason and Mou is a gentle soul who never yells at anyone (that I've seen). Also to know before you go - cash only.

Thank you Danny for saving my hair!! Long story short - I got a truly terrible haircut from a stylist while traveling who rushed through my cut and sent me out the door w uneven hair and terribly short layers in my already short hair. It was awful and I didn't notice it until I washed my hair that evening (amazing what you can hide with styling). It was too late because I didn't have time to go back. I went home and found Danny at Millbrae Hair Salon through a friend and learned that short hair cuts are his jam! I don't know what kind of magic voodoo he worked on my hair but he literally transformed it to the cut I wanted in the first place! You can't beat the quality and price ($45 plus tip). So happy I no longer look like my toddler cut my hair. You have found yourself a loyal customer. Photos below of before and after.

I recently went here for the first time and got a haircut by Mai. I called and got a same day appointment. The salon is clean, busy, well run, on time. I showed her a picture of a medium length haircut with slight layers that I wanted. Mai is friendly, helpful and very kind. I was very happy with my experience and will be coming back.
