After a long pandemic-caused delay (and because I'm cheap and didn't want to pay to get my hair cut), I finally bit the bullet and booked an appointment with Jennifer at Mill Creek Studio. Every time I've been to get my hair "layered" at other salons before, it always ended up the same length, and style, that I was frankly getting sick of, so I took the opportunity to bring that up with Jennifer. We opted to go for a long shag to get the three years of dead ends out of the way. Jennifer was easy to talk to, gave the most amazing scalp massage, and made me lose five pounds (of hair) in one sitting while keeping it to a length I was still comfortable with, and bouncing with body. She curled it nicely, didn't push any products down my throat (she did give some recommendations, but the fragrances were much too strong for me) and sent me on the way with a light and happy new do! I'll be returning to this place for Jennifer (probably in less than three years) but definitely requesting a softer-scented shampoo!
