Went here for a hair cut, and it was the worst hair cut I've gotten! I have thick hair so I felt like the dresser was getting the short way out of it by using a hair TRIMMER!!!! When I asked her she said that's how they are starting to train... it definitely seemed like the lazy quick way to do a hair cut. my hair looks so horrible and blunt and straight. Not to mention it was $95.00... the only good thing out of it was the hair wash. I am so upset that I have to wear my hair up until it grows out because of how horrible it looks.
Cat is the best hair dresser out there. Came out way better than I ever could imagined. She's knew exactly what I needed when I didn't. Turing ashes into beauty. Extremely knowledgeable as well in everything. Phenomenal. Just phenomenal. I'm at loss of words and I just don't know how to express it. This place need a gold buzzer for going above and beyond 5 stars. Friendliest, most respectful, caring, smartest staff. Quick to get in as well. I've been dying my hair blonde since high school and this is the best blonde I've ever seen. Cat is the best blonde stylist, extensions expert and every you need. She's going to take care of you in every aspect. Most kind hearted person I've met. Truly caring and sent from Heaven.
Seriously nightmare experience. I went to MH salon 30A to have a few accent highlights and a cut. At last min I decided to have a Brazilian blowout for the first time. Idk how the product they use is even legal. The fumes released when straightening my hair was incredibly intense. I wasn't offered a mask, yet my stylist wore a heavy duty clear plastic one. I could barely breathe and my eyes were insanely irritated. To make matters worse, they have the worst ventilation system in Florida. Federico the stylist, had to stop multiple times, because I couldn't breathe and felt my scalp literally on fire. He then took out an old school fan to gently blow at me. WTF. He assured me that it's "all normal," meanwhile every strand of hair with the product that touched my skin was turning bright red! Of course, when I got home and looked at myself I had a massive rash and my scalp and hairline was visibly chemically burned. I've had the worst 4 days. Because of this I haven't been able to enjoy my hair cut or bs highlights. What a nightmare. Today I get to enjoy peeling and the thoughts of possible permanent hair loss. They had to nerve to tell me, I looked great! And to come back and redo it in 2 months. These people are crazy! Idk how I was able to control my emotions at that moment. They charged me $600 plus tip to burn and suffocate me. Obvi I contacted the manager right away. I sent her photos and requested a refund, however, they won't even return my email. It's disgusting. I have never been treated so brutally in a hair salon or anywhere for that fact in my life! AVOID AT ALL COST!
